Hello. This is the next chapter, It is a bit longer than the first and slightly more interesting (hopefully ). But It's still probably a bit boring but I'm sure it'll get better :) Just keep reading :)

I walked through the ashes and coal that remained of my house; I inhaled and exhaled the sickening smells, I continued walking through the almost unrecognisable skeleton of the structure that once housed me, what was I supposed to feel? all I felt was emptiness. I continued walking slowly kicking the black dust up so it coated my clothes and skin. I soon found myself at the far end of the house; my mothers room, the smell of burnt flesh and hair was overwhelming here I looked under the chunks of coal and remnants of wood that were piled near what was once the doorway and found the blackened blistered body of my mother, bits of bone showing around the joints... blackened bone, skin like paper, blood still bubbled at the edges of her wounds. I suddenly felt anger, I kicked at a piece of rubble and screamed.. and screamed.. and screamed. when my throat ached and I could scream no longer, I walked away the hollow emptiness returning and engulfing me, drawing me back into the void of my mind.

I was more alone than before, the smell of smoke and burnt flesh reminded me of this, I needed to find some more clothes, but I had nothing except for the clothes that I was wearing and my bag which contained my sketchbook and several graphite pencils; I needed some new clothes and money soon. I slumped down at the street light a couple of houses away from the ashes and dust.

I stayed there slumped against the street light until the sky turned the colour of salmon, then a dark blue black, speckled with stars that shined a white light; there was no moon in the sky tonight. I stood up slowly and tiredly and made a decision, if I wanted clothes, money and food; then id have to steal. I moved towards a nearby house, deciding that most people forget to lock their back doors at night. the fence to the front yard was made from wire and about the height of my hips, I jumped it, then moved through the neat lawn and towards the fence leading from the front yard to the backyard, this fence was made of wood and slightly higher than my head height, I reached up above my head and grabbed the top of the rough wood with both hands, then using all the strength in my weak body I Pulled myself Over the fence and then fell onto the ground on the other side letting out a startled breath as I hit the ground, I rose from the ground and begun walking towards the back door of the house whilst ignoring the slight aching of my right thigh.

I crept through the neat rows of flowers in the back garden and moved towards the house, staying as quiet as possible and thinking about every single half movement. I soon reached the glass sliding door at the back of the house, and gave a gentle pull on the handle and watched with slight satisfaction as it came when I pulled, Hah First try I thought with a small smirk. I then tenderly placed a leg inside, then when nothing happened I brought the rest of me in.

It was an average family home, photos of the mother, father and their children lined the walls the smiling pictures looking at me as though they were having the times of their lives ,Great for them I thought to myself bitterly; I then crept into the parents room carful not to wake them, I walked over to the walk-in wardrobe at the far end of her room; as I viewed the many articles of clothing I thought of my own mother and her blackened body, and my heart sunk lower feeling heavier against the hollow feeling of my chest. I started grabbing random t shirts, cargo pants, socks and throwing them into my bag; I almost reached for the undergarment but stopped deciding that that was gross, I went over to the fathers side and grabbed a hoodie and a few large t shirts; Looked back to make it look like they had not been robbed, it didn't.

As I wandered out of their room I went into the pantry, getting a few cans of food and an old packet of lolly snakes, I then took a note out of each of their purses and left. I was gripped by a small moment of guilt before I shook it off, saying "C'mon Rosemary You need it more than them" To myself under my breath.

I jumped the fence and left, where will I go? I didn't know
