Born from the tree, a child named Ori was brought in to this world. She ventured throughout the forests of Nibel and one day landed up away from the Spirit Tree (the tree she was created from). It was crucial for her and she was then confused to figure out who her family was. Ori became a hopeless orphan searching for a new family, until one night, a bear looking creature named Naru, decided to adopt the lonely Ori. Years have passed and both Ori and Naru enjoy their time together. Going to trees gathering fruits for their feast, building bridges for a way to bond themselves, and eating together happily as a great family. On an unusual dusk, while they were eating, a huge explosion from the spirit tree has emit the whole Forest of Nibel catching everyone/everything's attention. A huge owl flying with some sort of light that seemed as if it was important. The owl then dropped the light into a hole where it seemed as if it could never be found. As time passes by, the forest loses hope and starts withering.. no light to heal the livelihood of the land. Flowers losing petals that never flow anymore. Trees broken down with no fruit to support the life. Rivers full of poison and gunk that hurt the life of the living in the water. On a gloomy day, Naru went outside hoping to find a tree with a fruit on it and with the luck she had, there was 1 last tree remaining. Naru desperately climbed it for all of it's fruit that could save Naru and Ori's life. As good as it seemed, the tree looked great, but possessed one fruit on it and Naru brought it back home for her dear daughter.. Ori. Once back home, Naru felt as if she was weak and tired. Naru placed the fruit onto Ori's bed and then sat on the floor and went into a deep.. deep.. sleep. ~ 🍃
