The waiting game and Harlequin

Viola's Pov

Leading the way for Jericho wasn't hard since she followed the light that bounced off my wings. When I suddenly stopped. "What's going on Viola why'd you stop?" she grunted out lifting the two up her back some more when I felt galand and mescula's presence and something coming at us. "Jericho run I'll stop the thing coming for us." When the boulder got into view. "Spirit spear lost fae first configuration Lost fae." The cloak removed itself, becoming the nine-foot-long spear cutting the boulder in half.

"Jericho I thought I told you to run." Pissed off she didn't run. Taking ban by the arm which held on as if his life depended on it. "I fucking missed flying like this." I looked down at Ban and scoffed. "If you're having so much fun I guess you can run," I smirked at him about to drop him. "Nope, I'm good." He replied as we made our way through a crack in a mountain to a tavern called My Sweet Gluttony. "What is this place?" I mumble now standing next to Jericho leaning Ban against my body as we looked at the scrawny man with a nice mustache.

"Is this a tavern inside of a cave?" Jericho voiced lifting Elaine up a bit. "That's right but I must say that this place is a bit deserted." He answered. "These three are wounded and we need shelter somewhere to hide." Just then Jericho had collapsed with Elaine and Ban had slipped out of my arms. I watched as he made his way towards the pantry opening it as I grabbed Ban flying into the pantry Jericho came in behind me. "Thanks, we owe you one," Jerchio spoke placing Elaine down gently against a box as he closed the door behind us.

I floated in the air hands behind my head as the mountain rumbled and quaked then a shriek was heard from the other side of the pantry.

"What a pity. I was prepared to show him a glimpse of my most powerful self." I chuckled and shook my head. "Ban you were right Escnor is prideful damn." He nodded arms tightening around Elaine. "Galand." Melsecula looked over at his statue form. "I thank you for getting rid of that loudmouth geezer and to repay you I'm going to kill you right now." her jaw unhinged like the fucking snake she is.

We watched as Esconor is swallowed in her cacoon of darkness. A little bit of time had passed before the cacoon fell and Melscula started to burn from the inside out causing her to fall off the cliff. He turned towards us and looked at Ban. "Ban there is something that I would like to ask you to do. Unfortunately, it's almost noon. We will talk again after nightfall." He turned and jumped off the mountain.

"Well, this is better than the dress I was wearing." The green dress and white ruffled sleeves along with the apron wrapped around my waist. "Elaine Viola." I watched as Harlequin looked at us both and Oslo licked at my hand.

"Been a while hasn't it King." Giving the younger fairy a smile as he flew over towards Elaine and I.
