//Late Night Conversations\\

Todoroki opened his eyes to a pitch dark room, he blinked a few times before his eyes adjusted to the darkness. He glanced over at the clock which read 4:26 am. He felt the warmth of Sero against his back, he never let go the whole night. Sero stayed by his side even after they fell asleep. Todoroki smiled to himself as he placed his hand over Sero's. "Roki? You up?" Sero asked in a tired voice.

"Yea, I just woke up for some reason." Sero ran his fingers through Todoroki's hair and gently kissed the top of his head. Todoroki turns to face Sero, nuzzling his head into Sero's chest. Sero wraps an arm around Todoroki's shoulders.

"So, what happened yesterday? Y'know, when we were talking about Endeavor," Sero asks, trying to fill the awkward silence.

"It's a long story, he was just not a good father. My family is still suffering from his abuse to this day, including me." Sero frowns.

"Sorry man didn't mean to prod," Sero said.

"It's fine." Another bout of awkward silence falls between the two. Todoroki awkwardly shuffles around before speaking. "If I had to be completely blunt, I would say he doesn't deserve to be a hero." Sero looks at Todoroki in confusion.

"He must've done something really fucked up then," Sero laughed nervously. Todoroki stayed silent, curling himself into a ball and tucking his head into his knees. "Hey Roki, I didn't want to make you upset at all, is there anything I can do to help?"

"Not really, my father is someone I would rather not talk about. He made my oldest brother disappear and sent my mother away," Todoroki said with a tremble in his voice. Sero pulled him closer and hugged him tight around the waist.

"Don't worry about it okay? I'm sorry that all happened to you Roki," Sero said. He stroked Todoroki's hair, quietly humming to him. His eyes adjusted fully to the dark as he sat there, comforting Todoroki. He looked down at Todoroki, seeing that he had fallen asleep in his arms. 

"Love you," Sero whispered.

The sun shone through the curtains in Sero's room, blinding him as he opened his eyes. He turned away from the window and pulled the comforter up to his chin. Todoroki was still asleep but seemed to be even closer to him somehow. "You awake Roki?" Sero asked in a whisper.

Todoroki clutched Sero's shirt in response. He nodded his head with his eyes still closed. Sero laughed and pet h Todoroki's head. "Doesn't look like it." Todoroki stretched out a bit before returning to the fetal position. 

"Love you too," Todoroki said under his breath. Sero blushed hard, staring at Todoroki in pure shock. He thought Todoroki was asleep when he said that.
