Tara turns seeing one of her generals ran to her.
"Princess, another human spotted among the ashens . Lone survivor, female," the general reports . Another human.
Another life struggling to survive. Only 47 people had they managed to save among hundreds of victims.
Ashens like human snacks the most. They'd spread chaos and plauges everywhere just so they could destroy the portal Tara had enchanted using her 7 beads to trap them.
It caged the beasts for 17 years at most and now the portal was somewhat unsettling. One of the creatures was foolish enough to eat one of the beads resulting to its death by exploding and taking others with it.
It weakened the princess greatly though as the beads were a part of her and she had to recuperate for 2 weeks before she can get moving again.
Despite the fact that it lessened her power, she used her remaining strength to contain the beast in one dimension of the mystical realm.
She did it.
Only to find out that the portal would open to the outside world once a year luring in hundreds of human victims, with ashens waiting on the other side to chomp on them.
"Where's the exact location of the human now general?" she questions requipping into her armor surprising the general.
"West of the volcano, your highness. Please let me go. You are still recovering from the last rescue," he tries to tell her yet it fell on deaf ears. "And you hadn't had any sleep this week. I'm going alone. Secure the camp while I am gone. That is an order."
The general could only bow accepting the decree as it is the princess's final word. "Please be safe princess." Tara nods assuringly at him.
"I will."
