"As one door closes, another opens."

Although Stan and I had made up, I now live in constant fear that Craig is gonna tell everyone my secret, although we had begged him not to tell anyone, and he had casually agreed.

But of course, knowing the asshole he can be at times, I am terrified something will slip out to someone and my closest secret will spread like wildfire throughout the school.

My thoughts ended abruptly as I felt a sharp pain in my ankle, causing me to trip over my own feet and fall face first onto the hard asphalt ground.

Students around me in my gym class stopped jogging around the track to inspect the thudding noise I had produced. Soft giggles were heard around me.

"Brofloski, you okay?" Our gym teacher, Mr. Givens, questioned.

"I, uh... I think I twisted my ankle..." I replied, too embarrassed to look up at the faces surrounding me.

The man sighed, writing me a pass to go to the nurse's office. "Someone help walk him to the infirmary."

Heavy steps grew close to me before stopping in front of my weak mess of a body. "Come on, Jew."

I looked up to see Cartman standing impatiently before me as if this was mandatory for him.

I tried my best to wobble up on one foot as the rest of the students resumed their laps.

The messy-haired brunette turned his back to me before crouching and extending his arms backwards. "On my back, fag."

I rolled my eyes, my cheeks a light shade of pink as I hopped up onto my boyfriend's back. He then grabbed my legs to secure me and started towards the infirmiry.

I blushed for the entire two minute trip.

When we reached the room, it was empty. There three beds, white curtains surrounding each one, with matching white sheets.

After dropping me onto one of the matresses, Cartman pulled up a chair and sat down beside the bed. "You gotta be more careful, dumbass."

I frowned and rolled my eyes once more. "Shut up, my shoelace was untied."

"Not about that, I meant about us."

I froze.

"...What are you talking about?" I smiled nervously, praying he wasn't speaking of what I suspected he was.

"I know about you telling Stan. And also about Craig."

I paused again, a lump forming in my throat.

The chestnut-haired boy sighed. "Just... Please, don't let anyone else find out... And don't do anything to piss off Craig either."

I gazed down in shame at my hands on the pale sheets.

To tell the truth, I hated keeping this a secret. I love the stupid fatass, and although its embarrassing, I want people to know. Other couples got to hold hands and make out in the halls; why is it that we can't?

But of course, I know the answer. I suppose society isn't ready for us quite yet, at least not in this tiny redneck town.

"Sorry." My eyes remained fixated on the blankets.

I felt something on my hand, and I looked up to see Cartman's warm fingers laced between my own. "Its okay."

As much as I tried to resist, I smiled. "I love you." The words spilled out of my mouth before I even knew they were in my head.

Cartman smiled back before opening his mouth to say something.

Before he could reply, the door swung open, causing us to jump and draw back our hands.
