I sighed feeling all my muscles tense up from all the stress. Suleiman still hasn't made his decision and the harem has been in chaos for the last week. Mahidevran is currently preparing herself to travel with Mustafa to Manisa.

"Sultanim, his majesty is asking for you" Rosie broke my train of thoughts. I twirled around to face her. Could he have finally made up his mind?

"Oh" was all I could say. I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed some pieces of my hair before I made my way out of the room.

I paused at the beginning of the harem feeling dizzy suddenly. I took a couple of deep breaths to stabilize myself. I shouldn't be so afraid, if he chose Gülfem she wouldn't hurt me or my children, my biggest enemy is Mahidevran but she would never be able to rule the harem after today unless Mustafa ascends the throne and that is something that will happen only after my death because I will never let them reach such power.

When I felt better I continued making my way through the harem

When I felt better I continued making my way through the harem. The maids watched me with expectations and hope. Some of these maids were Mahidevran's maids and were hoping for Gülfem to win, Gülfem and Mahidevran have been closer than Gülfem and I for many years. I walked through the golden road with my head held high and my expectations even higher.

I nodded at Bali Bey standing by the door being the privy chamber guard. He nodded back and ushered me into Suleiman's chamber. I walked in to find Gülfem standing with Suleiman in the middle of the room. I bowed to Suleiman before making my way closer to the duo.

"You called me, your majesty?" I asked trying not to get my hopes up for no reason

"You called me, your majesty?" I asked trying not to get my hopes up for no reason. Suleiman smiled softly at me.

"Yes, I have finally made my decision on who will rule the harem after my mother" Suleiman said placing his hands behind his back. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. I looked at Gülfem who smiled at me, I smiled back and nodded.

"I have decided that you Qamar, shall rule the harem after my mother" Suleiman smiled at me. I felt my eyes roll to the back of my head and I fell forward into a panicked Suleiman's arms.

I opened my eyes groggily feeling woozy. Suleiman was standing beside his bed where I laid with Gülfem and a midwife by his side.

"What happened?" I asked pushing myself up to sit against the pillows on Suleiman's bed.

"You're pregnant, Sultanim" the midwife answered excitedly. My eyes snapped to Suleiman who had the biggest smile on his face.

"Pregnant?" I asked almost confused. The midwife nodded happily. I let out a disbelieving laugh. Suleiman took my hand into his and kissed my knuckles happily. I was actually shocked he did it in front of Gülfem and the midwife. Suleiman walked over to his desk and pulled out a box from the drawer and walked back over.

"Congratulations Sultanim," Gülfem said with a small smile on her face.

"Thank you Gülfem" I nodded my head at her. Suleiman stood beside the bed with only the bars in the middle. He opened the box and pulled out a magnificent necklace which made me gasp. I reached behind me and undid the tulip necklace and handed it to Rosie who was stood to the side in silence with a smile on her face.

"Let me" I turned around in the bed and Suleiman slid the necklace around my neck. The diamond glittered under the candlelight.

"Thank you, your majesty" I smiled up at Suleiman

"Thank you, your majesty" I smiled up at Suleiman. I felt like I could float with happiness. It's been three years since I've been pregnant and it was starting to stress me feeling like I was barren but Allah heard my prayers and I will bring one more child to the dynasty.

I walked back into the harem where the girls were eating sweets and celebrating my pregnancy and rule at the same time. They all stopped and bowed to me when I paused in front of the doors of the harem.

"Congratulations, Sultanim," one of the maids said smiling at me happily. I nodded at her with a huge smile.

"What is going on?" I turned to look at Mahidevran who walked over clueless about what had happened.

"Why the celebration?" She asked with a fake sweet smile on her face. I tried very hard to hold back my laugh and not show her my true emotions.

"His majesty assigned the harem to Qamar Sultan" one of the maids pipped up answering Mahidevran's question. The smile on her face fell and a horrified look took over her face.

"And I am pregnant again," I said reminding the maids and informing Mahidevran. Her face was priceless and if I could I would laugh right now but I was still dizzy no thanks to my blood pressure and the pregnancy.

"Now excuse me, I have a new Sehzade I need to rest for" I nodded at Mahidevran and continued making my way out of the main harem and to my room.

I walked into my room to find my children and Hürrem's scattered around the room playing with one another. I felt my heart flutter at the sight in front of me. I couldn't believe that these children trusted me enough to come to my room.

"Mother!" Beyhan yelled jumping off the couch and running to hug my middle. I kissed the crown of her head affectionately.

"Is it true mother? Will we have a new sibling?" Murad asked excitedly. I was glad that all of my children were close in age so jealousy was rare between them because they were used to having many siblings and knowing they all have to share me and their father.

"Yes darling, I am carrying your little brother or sister in my stomach" I answered patting my belly. Ayse stepped over to me and placed a small kiss on my stomach and gave me a hug.

"Oh, darling" I patted her head. I looked over the rest of the children and noticed Hürrem's children sulking to the side. I walked over to them and sat between Mihrimah and Mehmed.

"What's the matter?" I asked running my fingers through Mehmed's hair. He looked up at me and then back down at the floor.

"Nothing" Mihrimah answered for the rest. I knew that they were used to hating the idea of someone else bringing them siblings other than their mother.

"I promise nothing will change for any of you" I whispered to the pair. Mihrimah gave a weak smile and nodded. I pulled them both in for a hug and placed a kiss on Mehmed's forehead. It broke my heart seeing them so lonely and confused and it also arose guilt in me for showing Suleiman the letter and ending Hürrem in this way, maybe I should have gotten rid of her some other way but now we can't go back in time, and fix what I had ruined.
