You were sitting at the library after school one day, trying to finish an assignment but you were stuck on a question. You had the back of your pen in your mouth, just fiddling with it as you read the question over again in your mind. You let out a little sigh.

"Stuck on something?" You heard a voice say behind you. It was Lawrence, he had his hand holding onto the back of your chair and was looking over your shoulder at your work.

You felt embarrassed having him look at your work. He is probably the smartest kid at school and you were no where near close to that.

"Yeah.. maybe." You say looking up at him. He's so cute he makes your heart go uwu when you see him, and then when he smiles your heart melts. You obviously had a crush on him.

"Want some help?" He smiled at you. (uwu)

He didn't even wait for a response and took a seat next to you, he was still reading your work. Now you had even more trouble focusing on your assignment because all you could think about was him sitting next to you, looking so perfect.

He helped you with that question, but he didn't tell you the answer, just explained it and asked you questions getting you to figure it out for yourself. Which was actually really helpful and better then just giving you the answer. He ended up helping you through the rest of the questions too before he said he had to go.

"Thank you for helping me, Lawrence." You said as you packed your stuff away.

"Not a problem. If you ever need help you can always come ask me." He said smiling sweetly at you. "I better get going now."

"Ok." You say, you weren't really think as you spoke because you were packing your things away, you weren't even looking at him when you said "Bye then, love you lots."

You realised what you had said and froze in your spot, holding your pencil case in your hand. You felt so embarrassed and began to turn red. He giggled softly at you, but also seemed surprised to hear you say that.

"Love you too." He said as he waved goodbye and left you there feeling awkward.

It was the next day before class started now. You were standing in the hallways holding your books to your chest as you spoke to your friend Judy.

"I died, Judy." You said, as a joke. "I died and I've come back as a ghost now."

She giggled a little and gave you a confused worried look, so you explained to her what happened.

"It was so embarrassing, Judy. I honestly wish I died." You said with a sigh.

"I think you're fine, you're over reacting." She said.

"Judy.... I literally said 'bye love you' to him. I want to disappear." You used the books to cover your face in embarrassment.

Judy seemed to think that was the funniest thing ever. She knew you had a crush on Lawrence, so to her this was such a funny and cute situation.

"What a cute confession." She teased as she laughed.

"Judy!"

"Wait, what did he say back?" She asked.

"Don't make me relive this." You said but Judy noticed the dreamy look in your eyes as you remembered he said he loves you too.

"He didn't?!" She said.

"He didn't mean it." You say with a sigh. To you he had just said it back to easy the awkward tension.

"Oh, I didn't?" You hear his voice behind you. You just stood in shock, not turning around. Judy smiled at you and said.

"I gotta go now (y/n), BYE!" as she bolted off leaving you alone with Lawrence.

Judy don't leave me here. I feel like I'm a deer about to be attacked by a wild animal. you thought in a small panic.

Lawrence walked to where Judy was once standing, he was smiling sweetly at you and your heart was beating so hard in your chest.

"Did you mean it?" He asked.

"I-" you didn't know what to say. But you had to be brave and take control of this situation. You were going to use an uno reverse card.

"Did you?" You ask.

"Of course." He said with a sweet smile.

"Really?" You say somewhat excitedly but also in disbelief. "Because I really like you. But if you're just teasing me-"

"I'm not teasing you." He said. "You really like me?"

"Of course." You say quietly, looking away from him. Your face had gone all pink now.

"Aww, do I make you nervous?" He smiled.

You didn't know what to say anymore, you just looked away blushing pink.

"You don't have to be nervous around me, I don't bite." He said.

"I feel like you will." You say quietly under your breath.

He just pat your head sweetly. He had a cheeky grin on his face. He began to walk away, our class was about to start. It was good he began to leave coz you didn't know what to say anymore.

"Bye (y/n), I love you~." He said as he turned and walked away.

"Ahh.." your heart was beating so fast as you spoke. "I love you too."
