Mark's birthday was a few days ago.. Nothing could go wrong after that, right?

Yeah, thats what Adam believed.

That has proven itself not to be the case.

Adam takes a deep breath, eyes narrowed as he stares at Jonah, who is currently fist fighting someone. In his café. Right in front of him.

And if you think that's bad, just wait until you realize Mark is threatening people with a gun! But to be fair, those people tried to attack Adam.

This is the life of Royalty, my friends.

People constantly want you dead.

"Jonah, let them go, they're already bleeding and it's staining the floor, i don't want to be the one to clean that up." Adam whined, head hanging low as he lets out a sigh.

"Fine.." Jonah responds, letting go of the man. He watches as the man runs out of the café in panic, and laughs at the sight of Mark threatening people with his gun while Cesar scares them away by angrily yelling curses in Spanish.

"You're such a mess.." Adam laughs, crossing his arms. My lovely mess he thinks to himself, but doesn't have the courage to say it out loud.

Adam moves back to the counter, sitting down. Jonah follows behind him, letting himself relax and lean over Adam. Jonah is hurt, probably bleeding a bit because of the fight, but he's fine.

Adam leans ever so slightly to the right, which causes Jonah to fall down to the floor.

"Ow- why did you do that- how could you- i feel betrayed." Jonah hisses slightly, sounding dramatic on purpose.

"You're heavy." Adam replied.

"You know what? Fair point" Jonah groaned, picking himself back up and sitting back down. "You have a fair point.." Jonah leans forward, resting his head on his crossed arms on the counter.

Adam reaches out, running his hands through Jonah's hair, who leans into the touch in response, with a soft sound that can easily be described as a Purring. Adam was fond of this about Jonah, how he could act like a big cat sometimes. Except this cat is a Human. And this Human is very, very special to him.

So special, in fact, he'd probably die- no, not die. He would live for him. He would refuse death itself if it meant Jonah would be happy. He would go to hell and back just to see Jonah smile.

But he didn't know why he would do that. Or why he would need to do that anyways.

...Okay, maybe he knows why he would need to do that.

Jonah gets in trouble all the time, after all. And he's had to help him get away with it multiple times.

Lord, he remembers the one time he lost Cesar's pendant and had to ask him for help. It was an interesting five hours searching for the pendant just to realize Cesar had it with him all that time.

Did Cesar do that on purpose? Most likely, he did-

Adam is unceremoniously ripped away from his thoughts by Jonah pulling him into a hug. Adam doesn't protest, he just lets himself lean into it and relax. Almost falling asleep.

He lets Jonah pet him, he's always told him that his hair is soft. Quite funny, considering he's not the one that uses a ton of hair products on a weekly basis.

For how long has he been thinking about Jonah? He sure doesn't remember. He kinda doesn't want to know.

As Adam drifts to sleep, Jonah can't help but stare at him. How peaceful he seems, how serene he looks when he's not stressed out.

He can't help but want to protect him. To hold him close. To keep him safe from everything around them..

..well, he's kind of down that right now.

Your honor.

I'm not sorry, by the way.
