The date for Mal better go well, or I will roast Ben alive.

When Mal opened the door, she was met with Ben's face. He wore his letter jacket and carried two helmets. "For the first time, I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful," he said. the purple-haired girl broke into a smile. "I hope you like bikes," he said to Mal, offering her a helmet. Mal took the helmet and shot Evie and Valia a look as she stepped out. "good luck, Mal," Valia called, and the two of them closed the door. Now that Evie and Valia were left alone, the white-haired girl plopped down on her bed, her magic flowing from her hands. it danced in the air like a purple painting, decorating it with dragons and flowers. "V, can you tell me about your land?" Evie said suddenly from her sewing table.

Valia's magic still played in the air as the girl hummed "sure, buts it's better if I show you," she said, sending a magic dragon toward Evie. The little plume screeched softly, circled Evie in a full-color cloud, and dissipated. Soon more clouds of magic showed in front of the Evil Queen's daughter, and Valia started to tell her story of what she remembered from the books she got before being sent to the isle. It varied from her Aunt meeting her for the first time to being married off to some Khal. Like her Aunt, Valia found a way out of the desert where the Dothraki was and took off to a boat with her Aunt. Only Daenery's left hand knew about the little girl on the ship and treated her as the Queen's sister or as a little daughter.

Daenerys and Valia were close as the Queen was the only thing Valia had to a mother. Soon she got to the last part where she would be sent off to isle for being a Targaryen; Evie none could trust them. "that sounds both like an interesting and disastrous adventure," Evie said as her roommate fished. Valia sighed and nodded. "yeah, it was, and I remember it clearly. The only thing I don't remember is my mother and father, as aunt Daenerys was the only family I had. Well, when Uncle Visyers was alive, he was also that. He treated me like a princess, but he sold me off. Luckily, I got away. And here I am" the whit haired princess opened her arms on the bed in a gesture that said, "this room on this island" the magic plumes dispersed, and Evie walked over to Valia, sitting at the bedside. "you know you're the nest thing that happened us. We are more alive with you in the gang," the blue-haired girl told Valia, who sat up and smiled "thanks, E" the two girls embraced each other happily.

They were glad they had found each other. Nothing could tear them apart.

In the classroom the next day, Fairy godmother strolled up to Valia and her friends "Children," she said, "excuse me, um, as you know, this Sunday is Family Day here at Auradon Prep. And because your parents can't come, due to...uh...distance...we've arranged for a special treat." Valia raised a brow and looked at her friends, who seemed just as confused as her. Finally, however, the white-haired princess walked to the TV monitor on a cart, her friends following her. When they reached, Fairy godmother clicked a keyboard. A grotesque shot of Maleficent filled the entire screen. Valia growled loud enough for the other to hear, and she felt Carlos subconical reach his hand to the small of her back. she knew this action was meant to comfort her, and it helped. Her growls ceased.

"I don't see anything," said Maleficent, backing up to reveal Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella gathered around her. "Nor do I hear..." she said. Valia raised a brow. Parents with this tecoglily these days. they didn't understand a thing. "Is this thing on?" asked Maleficent. "It's broken!" She clicked away at a remote and threw it down. "I hate electronics." "Evie!" shouted Evil Queen, watching as an image appeared on their dinky laptop. "It's Mommy!"

Evie waved at the TV monitor."Look how beautiful," said Evil Queen. "You know what they say: the poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Cruella cackled.

"Don't you mean the weeds?" said Maleficent.

"Oh! Who's the old bat?" asked Cruella, pointing.

"That's Fairy Godmother," Valia spoke up with a slight hiss catching Maleficent's attention "calm down, Tale. you can't hurt me here or anywhere," she smirked, and this only made Valia tighten her fist, who now had had claws on it. "Still doing tricks with eggplants?" said Maleficent turning her attention to FG. "I turned a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage!" said Fairy Godmother.

"You really couldn't give Cinderella till one a.m.?" said Maleficent. "I mean. What, the little hamsters had to return on their little wheels?"

Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella laughed.

"They were mice!" said Fairy Godmother. "They were mice."

"Hi, Mom!" said Mal getting the mistress's attention to her. the black-dressed woman called on her daughter at once, "Mal!" Evil Queen tapped Maleficent's horns as a reminder to calm down and be discreet.

"M—miss you," said Maleficent. But, Jafar said, "Your children are never far from our thoughts."

"I got it," Maleficent told Jafar coldly. She turned and spoke to Mal. "How long must Mommy wait to see you? You know Mommy's not good at waiting."

"There's a big coronation coming up," said Mal. "I think probably sometime after that."

Evil Queen's face lit up. "When?" she asked.

"I said I got this!" Maleficent told her. She spoke to Mal. "When?"

"Is there an echo in here?" said Evil Queen.

"Friday! Ten a.m," said Mal. "You sure I can't see you before that?" said Maleficent sweetly. "I don't know what I'll do if I don't get my hands on that magic wa—"

Evil Queen tapped Maleficent's horns again.

"You! You little nugget that I love so much!" Maleficent said with a smile.

Jafar, Cruella, and Evil Queen made kissy faces.

"Yes, I completely understand, Mother," said Mal.

Cruella leaned over Maleficent and spoke into the monitor. "Carlos! Is that a dog?" She consulted the bejeweled stuffed animal dog head on her vest. "Yes, yes, Baby, I do understand. It would make the perfect size for earmuffs." She cackled. This ticked both Carlos and Valia off.

"give it a rest De Vil" she hissed and flashed her glowing purple eyes. Carlos seemed a little taken back by her burst, but he spoke up anyway, defending the dog he had grown to love so much. "He's the perfect size for a pet," the boy hugged Dude. "This dog loves me, and I love him! And FYI, your dog is stuffed, so give it a rest as V said!" Cruella stroked Baby. Her lip trembled.

Jafar laughed. "Oh! Burn!" he said.

"Oh, why don't you go sell a toaster, you two-bit salesman?" Cruella told him.

"People who talk to stuffed animals shouldn't throw stones!" said Jafar.

"Oh, well, people who sell toasters shouldn't use mixed metaphors!" said Cruella.

"Enough!" said, Evil Queen. Valia sighed as the parents started arguing, shifting their weight and looking at each other, embarrassed. Jay hit the keyboard. The monitor went black. "I'm so sorry," said Fairy Godmother. "no," Valia said, looking at the headmistress. "you didn't know" FG smiled at her, and jay spoke up. Thanks for the special treat." Valia, Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Dude headed out of the classroom, leaving Fairy Godmother behind.

Valia thought with a shiver of anger that wasn't a pleasant treat.
