The Dark Forest and The Darker World

In the dark forest of Duel Academy, something was quite clear. There was something very strange about this forest. Every now and then, a twig would snap through the eary silence. It was definitely unsettling

Max: The curiosity bubbling up inside of Max was slowly eating away at him, slowly causing him to snap like the twigs making him go insane
"Alright, fine! I'll go and check you out, forest!"

As Max drew closer into the forest, the sight of a mysterious figure soon became clear. One with an aura as unsettling as the forest itself

Max: "...Who the heck? Who or what are you and are you the one causing the forest to be all creepy!?"

"That depends..." the mysterious one said. Their voice was a boy's definitely but there was a hint of sorrow in his voice. "Do you have the key?" He asked

Max: "Key? What're you talking about?"

???: "You know of what I speak. The slab that holds the key to the Beasts awakening."

Max: "Yeah, kinda evidently, I sorta don't!"

???: "Check in thy pocket."

Max: "I will, I will, don't order me around..."
He's checking alright

In his pocket, Max would find a Spirit Key, a wooded slab with black mark

Max: And out he pulls it-
"What in the- what is this?"

???: "That is a Spirit Key... and you would wish you never had it..." A duel disk became clear on the figures wrist. "If you wish to be safe, then you must duel me..."

Max: "Alright then, let's go! I got this easy!"
Max turned on his Duel Disk and put the Spirit Key back into his pocket

Both: "Duel!"

???: LP 8000

Max: LP 8000

Time Skip

Max: LP: 700

???: LP: 7500

???: "Finish it.... Goldd, Wu Lord of Dark World" The mystery boy declared the final attack that would finish off the rest of Max's life points.

Max: "Not good not good NOT GOOD!"
And he was blown away from the arena, landing on his back

Aiko: And as Max lost his duel, Aiko had approached the Duel Field. Guess she was wandering around too...
"I heard someone yelling very loudly, is Max OK?"

Max: "Rude to assume it was me, but no..."

Aiko: "Of course it was you."

???: "Ah... you... I remember... the one Master said to watch out for..." He said to Aiko.

Aiko: "You know me? Then you also know that Nightshroud rando then, don't you?"

???: "That is Master Nightshroud to you. The one you met was simply an attempt at recruiting the Prince of Hell by me"

Aiko: "I'm, oddly flattered that I should be watched out for, but this means one thing..."
She got her Duel Disk out
"We're Dueling. Right here, right now."

???: "I would say the same thing... but when I win, I'll take your Spirit Key... and both you and your friends' soul!" His Duel Disk activated again

Aiko: "So you learned I have one. Very well then, if it makes me a target, then I'll put up with it."

Both: "Duel!"

Aiko: LP 8000

???: LP 8000
