the diluc picture reminds me of that one meme 'shes a runner shes a track star'

'Well well, what did I just witness?~' A figure walked out from behind the trees.

I looked behind me summoning my bow and quiver. I turned to see a vaguely familiar purple-headed man. Not too tall. He had an attractive smile plastered across his face. Scaramouche. The Balladeer. Number Six of the Fatui Harbingers.

'Hey, careful with that!' he whined as I held out my bow.

'What do you want, Fatui.' I asked fiercely.

'I have a name, you know?' he said rolling his eyes.

'State your reason to be here.' I urged.

'Well, I just wanted to thank you.' Scaramouche said smiling innocently.

'Thank me? For what?' I asked suspiciously.

'For saving Inazuma,' he spread out his hands and smiled widely. 'all of the Fatui are extremely impressed with you and the resistance. "Wow! Such brave souls!', "Certainly deserves heavy rewards.", "We could use people like them."'

'Why do they care if Inazuma is saved or not?' I asked. I must admit I was flattered slightly by all the compliments.

'They don't. They are simply interested in how well you and the resistance fought and struggled. But that's not the case for me, you know?' he walked closer, pacing around me. I grasped my bow tightly.

'What's the case for you?' I asked.

'I am from Inazuma.' he answered.

'Wow, that answers my question.' I replied sarcastically, only to question why I responded so casually. I should've sounded more intimidating.

'Jeez, I was going to explain.' he said smirking. It was as if he was satisfied with how I responded to his statement.

'Explain then.' I said trying to regain my tone.

'See, due to me being from Inazuma I felt different than the other Harbingers. They only cared for your strength and abilities. On the other hand, I, care for both how well you fought and your glorious victory. It made me quite disappointed when I saw how bad Inazuma's state had been. All those innocent pawns lose their visions and get stripped of their ambitions.'

'It did..?' I was unsure of this. I only knew The Balladeer to not feel much towards such matters. I didn't think he would care whether Inazuma was rescued or not.

'Of course, it did. It hurt me just as much as it, did you.' he said sadly.

I stared at him, maybe he wasn't so bad. He had feelings just like us. After all, he was human, like everyone.

'I heard your little, 'issue', and I must say, I'm surprised.' he said looking directly at me.

'Well, you heard Kazuha, I was just overthinking.' I said sheepishly.

'Or were you? Look Gorou, I know I'm the "bad guy" here and you have no reason to listen to me but.. I really was surprised when I heard no one was acknowledging you and the Resistance. I have never seen such brave people at war,' he said looking at me. Pity was overtaking his expressions.

'You don't believe him, do you?' he asked after a pause.

'What do you mean?' I asked.

'You don't believe Kazuha. You still feel like the people don't appreciate you despite him reassuring you.'

'No.. not really.. I guess. I must be out of my mind to ask you this, Traitor. But what do you think? Is Kazuha right? Or are my thoughts prevailing?'

Traitor..
