Fairy blessing

Violet's POV

I'm finally done with all the challenges and as I stand on my toes I see the fairy smiling in joy as it claps while jumping happily.

Did I pass? I look at it in confusion as it flies to me and kisses my palm as I feel a scorching pain on my back.

I quickly pull my shirt and see the symbol of music 🎶🎵 designed specially around an image of the fairy dancing on the lake.

I smile since that means that I have it's blessing to me that's the best thing that can happen at this moment since I was planning on taking on the challenge after a while but now it's made easier.

I look at the fairy that is pointing at the lake with obvious fear of me leaving so I go to the lake and bend down as I spot a small hole suitable for a drop of blood.

She wants me to make a contract with her and this place huh? She quickly shoves an ice needle to me confirming my thoughts.

I prick my finger and drop the blood in the hole as I see several ruins appear around the place and I notice it expanding as the plants form several instruments from my past life as the fairy flies around with joy.

"Do you like it?" I ask her as she smiles and nods then I rub her head "I'll call you Harmony" I say softly.

Harmony happily dances as the animals all dance with her making me laugh and then I feel a warm heat in my dantian.

I close my eyes as I see a multicoloured marble there and I see the music world there with Harmony when I focus closely.

I guess I should leave here so I bid Harmony bye and I think of leaving this place as I wake up to see mother smiling at me.

"It seems like you got a fairy's blessing" she says as I nod happily and look outside the window to see the white marble castle that is sitting on a lovely private hill near the sea and the mountains.

I admire the sight of the prestigious businesses in the town and the way the commoners loved music and admired art and knowledge.

I watch everything with a gentle smile on my face and when we reach the Palace I see a man that resembles mother alot waiting with a smile.

"Brother!" Mother immediately gives him a hug once we come down from the carriage and I notice their resemblance making me conclude that they are twins.

After a few introductions we go inside and I am greeted with an elegant design that uses reflective gemstones but maintains the elegance and noble bearing of an aristocrat.

"Maje-" I start

"Call me uncle Andrew" He says as I feel myself about to pout.

"Uncle Andrew,  read grandma's and grandpa's letter and I wanted to ask why aren't you married yet?" I finally ask the question on my mind.

Uncle Andrew coughs in his hand with an embarrassed look.

"I won't have time for them as the king and all plus your here to take over aren't you?" He reasons before stopping at a large door with the engraved image of dancing animals.

I look at the life lke masterpiece and reach out to it as the door opens automatically revealing the music space to me as i step in the door slams into  uncle Andrew and mother's faces

Harmony flies to me and I notice the drastic reduction of her height as now she is at a normal height for a fairy which is small enough to sit on both my palms.

She hugs my neck and nuzzles her face in my neck like a pet and I giggle at her childish acts.

"You missed me that much huh?" I ask as she nods

"I still need to settle some affairs outside so will you continue to occupy my bedroom?" I ask again as Harmony immediately snaps her fingers.

The music world immediately is hidden behind a door with a picture similar to my tattoo on it.

I look at my bedroom and smile at it because it's just like Valerie's bedroom when she moved to her new Palace.

I loved it especially the bed that was raised by a tree that looked like it grew inside the room, it was magical.

"Do you like it? The royal elementals personally created it for you" uncle Andrew says to me as I feel warm at heart and hug him.

"Thank you brother" Mother says as he smiles warmly.

"From now on nobody will be able to bully you two again Arianna or else they'll have to deal with the Denbighshire kingdom" uncle Andrew says as I feel his sincerity and grin.

We have a lovely tour around the Palace before having dinner in the garden of wind, I am shocked as the plants form wood wind instruments that all play continously a lovely tune.

"Why are the plants instruments?" I ask since I notice that majority of the plants in the kingdom produce music.

"Denbighshire means Home of Music and this is the home of art and music culture since the dawn of time, the Minto Royal family has been known for having the innate gifted ability to control the elements as we dance as it is in the Minto blood to do that the next ruler is always chosen from who the fairy blessed and my dear that's unfortunately me" He says with a weak smile.

Mother just laughs at him "he wanted to dump it all on me but I didn't want the position so your lovely uncle suffered instead" Mother says making me laugh at the realisation.
