Violet's POV

Me and mother continue shopping for random things and I notice that she purchases mainly decorations and stuff needed for a new home but I pretend not to notice.

We enter a simple styled seafood restaurant once the sky starts turning reddish and stalls start preparing for the night market.

"We'll have the shrimp pasta, barbecued scallion and fruit punch" I order for us both since mum was occupied reading a book she bought on baking steps.

They serve our food and I eat it happily till a silly thought came into my mind and I acted it out.

I switched my almost empty barbecue plate with mum's own when she wasn't paying attention and acted normal.

I stiffle my giggles at mums shocked face when she turns to her plate but she shows a look of laughter and realisation when she sees me holding myself from laughing out loud.

We finish dinner and go to the Duke Charlton villa and head to our separate rooms to rest.

I go to my room and call a maid "call me Teresa" I order with a voice that is dripping with hatred and dislike as the maid leaves.

My dear elder sister have you been reborn yet? I will love to battle it out with you for the sake of my future plans that will rival you and your mother's family.

In this life you won't win over me or my mother no matter what.

"You sent for me sister?" Teresa asks as she enters with the similar voice of a queen that makes me feel excited to start my plans.

"I wondered on why you didn't visit me when I woke up, it truly is getting hurtful the way you and Tony stigmatise me from your play" I say pitifully like the former me will have done.

"I heard that you are moving out soon so cut to the point" she says ruthlessly.

"I want us to stop this pointless war since I came to terms with you being my sister and not my enemy plus its wrong for siblings to fight or am I wrong?" I ask her while siting cross-legged on my bed.

Teresa's eyes reveal suspicion as she stares at me but I just give her a polite smile and tilt my head slightly, being the daughter of the king of the entertainment world is not for show.

"You don't agree sweet sister?" I ask stressing the last two words on purpose.

"What's the catch Violet?" Teresa asks me and I smile brightly while walking towards her and stopping at her front.

We are the same height but very contrasting as she has the Duke's silver straight hair that is not as silky as my platinum blonde hair and his Ruby coloured eyes.

She has a very busty hourglass figure, full red lips, porcelain white skin that's opposite of my pure white milky jade skin and she is a gifted only due to her ability to control all the elements and she has the ice element which is unique but to me its just okay since soon enough she will notice how hard it is to find an ice fairy.

As we stand together one is an ice beauty with the aura of a queen while the other is an otherworldly beauty with the aura of a goddess.

"You ask what I want?" I say softly as she nods slightly, "what I want is the freedom to get strong enough to protect my loved ones from danger, what I want is to be able to be an independent lady that doesn't need a stupid man to rely on, what I want is to be able to surpass you in a formal and clean way without using underhanded methods, what I want is to get rid of the shackles of the stupid rules restricting me, that's what I want" I say with sincerity but the truth is that I just want to be happy and free to do what I want and to play her the way she played me in my first life but she doesn't need to know that.

Teresa shows a look of confusion that immediately enters my sharp eyes, if she refuses the truce then I'll have to go with my back up plan of using her family to make her weak then killing them all at once to avoid future troubles.

If she agrees it will be for the best since I'll be able to follow my original plan.

"I agree then" she says after a while as I nod my head in satisfaction "you chose well sister" I say before turning around.

"Goodnight sister please close the door on the way out" I say sweetly not bearing her a glance as I go to the balcony and look at the stars above my head as I smile.

The preparation for war is about to be completed now I just need to survive the stupid coming of age ball in a few months time by then my lovely father has already allowed my dear elder sister to open her own boutique and I plan on taking over my grand parents business.

Grandpa was the owner of the biggest bookshop and bakeries all over the continent while grandma was a jeweller that specialised in keeping the beauty of the masterpiece to suit the wearer.

"*sigh* I still have to deal with my power hungry father that will make things hard for my mum to leave with me since he needs our connections to keep up with his extravagant lifestlye" I muse to myself with a tired smile.

This is just the start of my journey to freedom.
