[chapter one]

"He cut the rope! WHY DID HE CUT THE ROPE?"
I screamed at Dustin.
He was just as shocked as I was. Eddie flashed one last smile at us and was gone.
"Eddie! Where are you going?" Dustin asked screaming but we didn't get a response.
Silence.
Just silence.
I started to panic, looking around and thinking about how we are going to get back into the upside down without the rope. But Dustin was already back on the other side and helped me back in.
We looked around the trailer.
Nothing.
He was not in the trailer anymore.
"Dustin, where- where did he go?"
"Oh no, I think I know where he went."
We both ran out of the trailer and looked in every direction. And there he was.
In the middle of a demobat tornado.
We ran over to him and i dropped on my knees looking down at him. And there it was again, his beautiful smile.
"You gotta stay awake please! We're gonna get you out of here!" Dustin said but Eddie just kept looking at me.
I tried to say something but nothing came out of my mouth. Eddie took my hand and squeezed it very tight.

Together Dustin and I got him out of the upside down and informed the other ones what's going on.

Finally it was in sight. The hospital.
Steve was driving as fast as he could, Dustin and I in the backseat with Eddie on my lap.
I have never seen him so scared.
He was still squeezing my hand very tight.

We finally arrived and Steve ran inside to get a doctor. The other ones and you helped Eddie out of the car. The doctor came and brought him inside where already some nurses were waiting for him. They brought him into the emergency room but non of you were allowed to go with him. It was so hard to stay strong and not to collapse onto your knees.
You couldn't let anyone know how much you like him.
