your tired eyes getting heavier and heavier, you soon fell asleep. heizou, who was humming to some tune he made up, looked over to you and noticed you unconscious.
"cute" he smiled. he patted your head and kissed your cheek. "if only you weren't such a bad girl"

you opened up your eyes, very confused. then slowly, you remembered what had happened. you had been arrested. you looked around and smiled when you realized you didn't have handcuffs anymore but this doesn't look anything like a police station. was it just a dream?
you found yourself on heizou's shoulder. you had a cast on your foot and there were nurses and other patients walking around. this was the hospital.
you looked at your boyfriend, still very confused and absolutely clueless on what was going on. it took him a few seconds to notice you woke up but once he did, he smiled.
"you're awake"
"where am I?" you asked with your sleep voice.
"you're in the hospital, sweetheart" he replied as he gently stroked your hair. "how's your ankle? feeling any better? how could you be so clumsy, you fell twice in two days"
"so me running away from you wasn't a dream?"
"it wasn't.. and I did arrest you"
you lifted your head off heizou's shoulder and sat up, trying to figure out what happened.
"then why am I not in jail?"
"y/n.. you know how much I care about you.. I promised that I would never get you into trouble and I don't break promises" he placed his arm around you and rested you head on his shoulder again.
a single tear left your eye and rolled down your left cheek.
"oh no, baby, why are you crying?" heizou asked with a concerned tone, cupping your face.
"I-I'm.. so sorry..." you sobbed. "I thought you were really going to arrest me"
"oh y/n, I would never.. but I hope I scared you today because I don't want you commiting anymore crimes so no more stealing.. vandalizing or anything bad, understand?"
you nodded. heizou's pocket started to vibrated. he took his phone out and answered the call.
"did you get the girl?" you heard the caller say.
"no, I lost her" he said in his serious work tone.
you heard the lady on the phone scold him and he nodded at everything she said. once she was finally done, he hung up and kept his phone before turning his head to look at you.
"oh the things I do for you" he ruffled your hair. "you're lucky you're the love of my life"
you smiled cheekily.
"from today onwards, I'm not going to be committing anymore crimes, I'll stop stealing, stop spray painting on walls even though I'm really good at it"
"you should be an artist" heizou suggested. "I saw your painting of us"
"that's a good idea" you agreed. "why didn't you answer my texts today?"
"oh.. sorry, I was really busy with another case so I couldn't respond to your texts, I think I pressed marked as read by accident.. sorry"
the lady at the desk then called out your name. heizou helped to support you to get up. your ankle hurt alot less than before but walking was still quite a challenge.
the lady gave heizou some medicine. "that'll be 40k mora"
your eyes widened as you heard the price then turned to heizou and he casually just took out his wallet and really paid 40k mora.
"why is it so expensive-"
"shhh... I'll do it for you" he smiled.
he finished paying for medicine then you both walked out of the hospital and were greeted by beautiful stars in the sky.
"it's so pretty.." you gasped.
"pretty like you" heizou giggled. "okay now let's go bail kazuha out of jail"
