Dear Journal,

I've seen a lot of weird things, but this was the weirdest and strangest thing. I wasn't exactly expecting Charlie, someone who I thought was dead to come back. But then again, I wasn't sure if I was even awake or not at the time of her appearance. A little background on Charlie before I continue. Charlie was in my opinion a Winchester, the way she had died according to my father. She was the best hacker that they had ever met, and in fact, she was intelligent. My father and uncle first encountered her when Dick Roman was involved. He was such a well, a Dick. Because of him, my father got stuck in purgatory for god knows how long.

She hacked into the full system and learned about my father's and uncle's aliases. But as soon as she found out what was truly out there, things didn't go so well. Anyway, my dad also tried to teach her how to flirt. Honestly, I think she was like a female version of my father. Fast forward a few years later, they stumble across Charlie yet again when they were investigating a rash of strange deaths involving medieval punishments and accidents. Long story short, she almost banged a fairy, the third time they talked with her was when they learned about Oz and the real Dorothy which is where this part of my story begins. Charlie fell out of my closet and things had gone south from there.

Sincerely,

Ezra.

Dear Journal,

So turns out, everything that happened was nothing more than a dream. Kind of like what happened to the other Oz, the ones we normally see on television or on DVD. Of course, one thing that still kind of bugs me was the fact that those in Oz were not too excited about this angelic tattoo on my wrist. I knew something was wrong. I just didn't quite understand what they were afraid of then this green bitch actually nearly tried to kill me. She trapped me in her tower and said that once the time ran out on the egg timer (which aunt Kristina if you're reading this, it's an egg timer) she'd have my powers. I still don't understand anything, all I know is that things were about to get way harder for me. And I thought that time traveling was rough, let's just say that things were about to get challenging.

Yours,

Ezra.

Dear Journal,

Ugh! Everything that was going on was about to get really out of hand, my family excluding my cousins and my sister were going out on a hunt without us! Mary and I were so bored, and I don't really know what much to say but Mary and I wanted to get out of the bunker, we were always trapped in there and it was a pain in the ass! I've tried talking my parents into letting us go but they've said No multiple times which got on my nerves. All I wanted was to show that I could handle getting a case done without anything getting in the way, but my Uncle stated a few things like the fact that there would be too many people on one case which doesn't make a lick of sense because all four of them were going, but whatever!

Anyway, I was sitting on the couch bored out of my skull and listening to the television when this newscast showed up. Long story short, my cousin and I decided to take things into our own hands and decided to go and investigate. I'm going to be honest, I really didn't want my cousin to go with me, I would have been too worried that things would come after her. You'll understand why. More to come soon.

Sincerely,

Ezra.

Dear Journal,

Don't ask. That's all I can say. When my cousin and I traveled to Virginia we may or may not have gotten sent ten years into the past. That's one of the reasons why I wrote the date that Mary and I are currently in. I don't quite know what time it is in my time frame so it's hard for me to make heads or tails of this. Let me give you a little background here. So Mary and I woke up literally in the middle of the street. I woke up first and shook her awake.

"M! Are you okay?" I said.

"Yeah," she had said and sat up. "Ezra? Where are we?"

"I don't think you want to know," I responded. I looked around but the doors to the dormitories at the time (which was by the way earlier today in the morning around seven) opened. "Mary! Hide!" I said and grabbed my cousin, the two of us dove for cover hiding behind a tree. We glanced around the tree and saw that my mother was talking with another girl and my aunt. Let's just say, seeing my mother talk with someone whom she completely hated. "Is that my mother?" I asked.

"With Sarah?" Mary questioned. Later that same day, Mary and I had to split up and keep an eye on our mothers. I've learned a lot of things about her, especially what she used to do. Honestly, when I read a few of her stories, I felt bad. My mother was a great writer and she was so passionate about it. Her descriptions were also beautiful, Mary had also learned that her mother could do the same. We did the next best thing, we followed them and listened to their writing. I didn't want to admit it, but I felt like it was my fault that my mother didn't get a chance to live out her dream. I know that isn't much, and I shouldn't blame myself, but I gave her such a hard time that it wasn't funny. Currently, my mother is at work so I don't have much else to do, this campus is quite small and I wondered what life was like for my mom. She knew about my father before she even met him and loved the way he cared about his brother. I think that's what really got her hooked into the "series" Of course it would probably take a lot of convincing to make her believe that they were real people and that she would have me.

Yours,

Ezra.

Dear Journal,

So how should I explain this? My cousin and I made it back and we kind of got in trouble. Although, Cass was actually helpful, for a few minutes until he told our parents. When I tell you that my face turned red. It turned as red as a tomato, everything that happened, I wanted to make sure that my parents knew how much I appreciated them. The thing that we actually went up against was not only a demon, or crocodile but also the Egyptian God of Time: Iah. Honestly, this guy is so lame! He couldn't even understand that no one worshiped him anymore, not only that but he couldn't change the timeline that was set in motion. Castiel came through and helped us get back. At first, I thought he was going to forget all about it, but turns out he remembered everything. From when he came across Mary and I to getting us back home.

I thought that my mother had given up writing but it turns out she still did it despite the complications. The biggest difference is that because my entire family is pretty much living off of my mother and aunts writing, I was just impressed that my mom and aunt were able to keep things quiet. The hardback book is gorgeous with a picture of the campus and the chapters. I didn't know what to think. Of course, Mary did start writing her own as well, I'm glad she's getting into writing because for me the only thing that interested me was drawing. Maybe someday I might be able to go to college and get a real job. I mean don't get me wrong, I love hunting and all but that gets super boring after a while. Anyway, until next time!

Yours,

Ezra.
