It was quite a normal night for them, being chased by a 12 year old seriously is entertaining, after all, They were her rival, who they cared for deeply. They wouldn't want anything to happen to her.
"Get back here, Phantom Bleu!" The young and aspiring detective, Walnut Cookie, shouted at me. They ran ahead of her, running in heels was not good for their legs, but hey, it's fine.

"Pfft—! You're going to have to run faster than that!" They shouted back at her, letting out a small laugh, but then, They heard a loud shriek and then a thud. What happened? They could've swore she was behind them a few minutes ago.. This was starting to worry them, a lot.

"What the hell?"

They thought to themself, did she fall? No, she couldn't have fallen off of the building in such a short amount of time. But they looked back, and Walnut wasn't there anymore.

Just a magnifying glass on the edge of the concrete building they both were running on, and as they looked down at the ground...

There was the broken, bleeding body of someone they called a younger sister, maybe even a daughter. They jumped down to her as tears streamed down their face.

They felt their heart drop to their gut. They were in utter shock.

"No....nononono.. " They covered their mouth and picked up her body, sobbing heavily, their clothing becoming coated with blood. They felt sick to their stomach. How could they have let this happen to her? She was so young too.

She was dead, there was no coming back from this. They sobbed, putting the young childs body down along with their cape over her. It started to get stained with the crimson red liquid, which worried them so much.. They cared about her and now her death was all their fault! They're such a horrible person... She can't be dead, right!? This has to be a joke.

It was all over the news, They were a murderer. A lot of people they knew, had started to cut off contact with me., So they had nobody, not even their favorite detective, Almond Cookie. He was extremely mad at them for the things they had caused, and they could understand why. I mean, they killed his daughter..

"Roguefort! Where the fuck are you!?" They heard the detective shout down a alleyway they were sitting in. It was that exact same alleyway where she fell that night. And he sounded mad, really mad. They didn't say anything, though. Because they knew if they moved. He would find them, and they didn't want that to happen.

"Roguefort Cookie. I know you're here. I want to talk with you."

They heard him yell in their direction, which scared me as they got up and walked in his direction. What's the worst that could happen? He wouldn't hurt them, would he?

They were wrong. So very wrong.

They immediately got punched in their cheek by him, probably knocking out a few teeth. They deserved that, didn't they? They definitely did. Almond was fuming, and he looked like he had been crying too. Goodness, did they actually cause all of this? It doesn't feel real to them.

"YOU BETTER HAVE A GOD DAMN GOOD EXPLANATION FOR WHY YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER."

They flinched at the yelling as they got kicked in their leg, making them fall into the concrete below me. They deserve this, don't they? They didn't say anything yet. They watched him walk away as they stared to cry.

The tears on their face felt warm. As their vision blurred and blood ran down their mouth, They felt like passing out, and so they did.
