Thomas POV

"Excuse me, sorry sir. Can I get through please" I yelled squeezing through the crowds of people looking for the King.

Although sometimes being a kid is annoying but if there is one thing I've learnt in my life it that we (most of us) can get through small spaces!!!!!!!

So I got on my knees and weaved my way through the crowds and finally got to the King. He was lying on a bed surrounded my doctors. However I could hear him grumbling about not being hurt and being fine.

Suddenly he spotted me and cried
"Thomas, thank you I may be dead if it wasn't for you saving me."
"Umm... Your welcome?" I replied "I know what happened down in the..."
"Shush. We need to go somewhere a little less... Well a little more private."
I nodded and he made a grand gesture to the crowds of people and everyone went silent.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. I am better now so don't worry. I know who harmed me and I'm sure they won't come again. Now ta ta because of have important business to discuss."
With that he took me to behind a broken tent and started talking very quickly

"I'm sorry, I should have believed you to begin with but the world is corrupt these days and you can trust no one. However now I do we have to act fast and get prepared." I nodded and he carried on "Thomas, I know this may be a difficult but we have to get someone into the Queens palace. Preferably a child so the Queen won't suspect anything."
"I agree, sir but there will be no child in this camp that will want to go. I'm pretty sure this will be a life threatening task." I said
"That's the problem, kids won't leave their parents. We have got to find another solution."

I wiped the sweat off my head and considered my options. Either I stay and watch parents lose their children or i volunteer. Either way I still had a chance of dying. But I was selfish and I said

"Why don't we hold a meeting for children in the campsite tomorrow. That way we can see if anyone wants to go."
"I suppose you're right. At 11 am tomorrow bring all children and meet me at the campsite. Bye Thomas"
"Bye sir" I called

As I wondered down the rocky path to my home I started to cry. I felt as guilty as a murderer. Children may die and it would be all my fault. So I decided to do it...
