Chapter 4

 It was 8.30pm, I was on the bed when someone throw stone at my room window. I stood up and walk to the window and open it. When I look down I saw Mike and Josh was at my yard.

"What are you guys doing here?" I said.

"He is not firing the bonfire, he is waiting for you." Said Josh.

"Tell him not to be crazy." I said.

"He is not listening. They are all waiting for you. Please come." Said Josh.

"I am not going." I said again. Is he out of his mind? I am really not in the mood to have to go all the way down to tell him to fire the bonfire.

"Gwen...we need you....please!!!Just fire the bonfire and I send you home. Please!!" beg Mike.  I look at them and pity them as they were really wanted to party tonight.

"Fuck...okay give me ten minute...let me change and I'll be down." I said angrily. I close back in and get ready. I wear a jean, a shirt and a brown jacket with a 1 inch heels. I put on a light makeup, took my small slight bag put in my phone, wallet and key and went down. Dad was watching cartoon with Anne.

"Dad I am going out, I'll be back before midnight." I said.

"Do you need my car?" reply my dad.

"It alright...Josh will send me home. See you dad."

"Call me if you need me to pick you up."

"Goodbye dad." I said while I kiss his forehead. I walk out, close the door and went into Josh car.

Once we got there, I can feel how depressing all of them were. They were either standing or siting near the bonfire waiting to be fire up. Matty was waiting near the bonfire area and went he saw me walking towards him, he shouted,

"Everyone....let the bonfire begins!!!" once he said that everyone from being boring they start to shout and cheering. Once Matty fires it up music start to play and everyone there start to dance. I look at him from a far and wanted to walk back.

"Send me home now!!!" I said to Mike.

"We just got here. Just stay for a little while." Said Josh. Before I can say anything Matty walk to me and says,

"You came!!! I told you I will not fire it up if you not here."

"Well yea...you did. Now can I go home?" I said.

"The party just start." Said Matty while he pull my hand towards the crowd. I look behind and saw Mike and Josh laugh at me. I try to pull my hand away but he was too strong. Once we got in the crowd he start to dance and I stare at him. I can see girls were giving me scaring look. The one that said "I'm going to kill you " look.  I was not in the mood to dance, not that I don't like to party just that things might get out of hand if I do.

"Come on let dance." Said Matty again. I did not move or dance. I turn and look at my friend. When I spot them I quickly run towards them and let Matty dance on his own.

After much begging, I decided to stay. At least till they are drunk and I'll be there to send them home. Josh got me bourbon coke. After we drink a bit Mike and Alan pushes me to the crowd and we start to dance. Once I start dancing that it, the floor became mine. Everyone start to looking, cheering and even join along. While I was dancing my ass off I can see Matty from the drinks stand were staring towards me. I try to brush it off and pretend not to see but whenever I saw him; his eyes were looking at me. I don't know how I want to feel it but it was good... I kind of like it.

After hours of dancing walk away from the crowd and grab a drink. When I was about of get a drink Matty hand out a drink.

"It's plain coke. I don't want to get you drunk." Said Matty worry about me. I took the coke and smell it before I drink.

"Thanks for coming," said Matty. This is the first time he said that to anyone. I finish the drink and look at him.

"Are you alright Matty? I don't know what is going on but I need you to stop."

"Stop what?" he reply.

"Whatever you trying to do right now! Being nice to me and being this guy that is scaring me." I said while I wanted to turn around and joining back to the rest at the bonfire. Suddenly he pull me to him and I realize that I was standing very near him and I can feel his heart beat.

"Matty what the hell you doing?" I said while trying to pull myself from him. He kept quiet and look at me with his blue eyes. The way he looks was not as always, this time is was full with something which I know but trying my best to act as dump so that I wouldn't fall for him.  

"Can't you feel it?"

"Feel what? I think you are drunk, Matty I need you to stop what you are trying to do and let me go. I might sure I drive you back if you are drunk alright." I said changing subject.

"I know you feel it too." He said. I breathe out and look at him.

"Josh...Alan...Josh....Alan." I shout calling them to help me. Josh and Alan went to us and look at us clueless.

"He is not letting me go. Help me. He's drunk." I said.

"I'm not drunk. I am sober. Trust me." He said. Both of our eyes still looking at each other. I can feel his heart beating faster and faster while he can feel mine.

"If you do , you are not doing this to me, you would be dancing with you girlfriend who is right now staring at me with her dead look. So left go before I will force you to do it."

"How?"

"Pull him please!" I said and Josh and Alan and they start to pull Matty away from me. But still he would not move instead he push me nearer to him.

"Matty...Matty what are you doing with her?" shouted Madison. All of us stop.

"He is drunk...would you please get him away from me Madison?" I said while I look at Madison. Madison the walk over to us and pull Matty away from me. He slowly move away from me but his hand were at my arm. It feel like he wanted me to pull him back to me. But I push his hand away and says,

"He's drunk!!" I said again. Madison did not said anything and pull him with her.

"While that was weird." Said Josh.

"Very weird...extremely weird." I said again. All of us look at each other and after a few minutes, Mike came to us and pull us to the dance floor.
