Chapter 18

After what happen at school this morning, Madison took me back to her house. Since her parents were not at home, we decided to ditch school. She told me to lay down at her bed and I did. When I look up, the ceiling it was like a real cloud. It was peaceful. For a moment I felt peace, my heart beat in a normal rate, I stop thinking about Matty and Natasha.

"You okay?" said Madison. I look at her from the side and say,

"It's beautiful."

"Thanks, my brother drew that for me before he left for college. He wanted me to have peace whenever I feel down. "

"That nice." I said again while looking up. Madison walk in and lay down beside me.

Both of us look at the ceiling. It is strange to see Madison being so nice, being with her like this felt like I meeting a different Madison.

"Why are you so nice to me?" I said.

"I told you, you are my good enemy. I need to protect you so that we can continue to fight with each other." She said. I laugh,

"Seriously...that is the first time in my life someone has said that and it does not make sense. It either you like me or not."

"Well I am a bitch. And that what I think." Said Madison .

"It hurt right! That why you try so hard to be a bitch." I said. Silences enter the room. She did not say anything. After a while Madison sit up and says,

"Why are you being super nice to everyone?"

"Because that what I am." I said.

"You are being so nice that you would fight for people but not yours. She is doing all this to you and you rather cry and let it pass. Why?" said Madison angrily. I smile; I have heard the same thing. Johnson told me that once too. I sit up and look at Madison.

"Because I can take it. You beat me I took it, you said bad thing I took it, you push me I take it. But if others people they will get hurt and I saw a lot of people got hurt and they are not strong enough to handle it and end up getting hurt."

"Why?"

"Because when I was little, my mum was a social worker, she handles teen that was bully and she tries her best to help them but she can't help everyone. Until one day, I saw a teen girl she jump from my mum work place." I said.

"Why?"

"Because she was bully and no one was there for her. She try to be strong but she not."

"Does is even hurt? Everyone who you help just turn their back on you? How could you not feel a thing?"

"It hurt a lot, but I have decided to be there for the people who need support even if they turn their back on me. Once I have put my mind into it, I can do anything for the people I care."

"I don't understand." Said Madison.

"Then don't, the only thing you need to do is if you need someone to talk too, you can come to me. I'll be there." I said while I smile at her. Madison smirk and says,

"Anyway, I have found out more about Natasha."

"You did!" Madison stood up and walks to her writing table and took out some document.

She then brings it to me and gives me the document. I look inside the file and saw Natasha name written on the paper. I look at Madison,

"There's more, continue reading." I look back at the document and the more I read and see the more I was surprise. I quickly close the file and look at Madison,

"Where did you get this?"

"I ask someone to check for me and this is what he gave me."

"Is this all true?"

"Yap...I even when to the mental institute and check the nurse there if they knew her."

"So you are telling me that Natasha is crazy."

""Yes she is. "Said Madison while she sits down at the bed.

"Did the nurse say anything else?"

"Um...the nurse said Natasha don't like taking medication. The doctors and nurses there always had a hard time giving her medication but one day she met a guy and after that day she start to take medication and start to improve herself. Until the doctor declare that she is alright to go out." Said Madison again. Matty used to have a grandfather who had mental problem and the family has to send him into the mental institution, but he only survives for a week and he pass away.

"Do you know who that guy was? Did the nurse say anything about the guy." I said.

"I know you are guessing Matty was that guy that Natasha met right?" when Madison said that I nod my head.

"Yap the nurse recognizes Matty face. It was Matty that she met." I shake my head.

When I thought it was just a normal girl who falls in love with the hottest quarter back, but now I was wrong a mental problem girl is the person who is giving me huge headache. I laugh, I could not help it. I don't know what to do, Madison too laugh. I think she know how I felt right now; confuse, sad, angry and heartbroken all at once.
