it had been a week since taeyong sat in that hospital bed, replaying the words of his mother in his head everyday. and every, single, time it would sting even more. now, he looked around a barren room, all his things completely packed up in a corner and not a single sign of his presence ever being there. though taeyong agreed he wouldn't let this bring him to tears, the salty drops prickled along long lashes.

a sniffle echoed in the room, collecting what he could and slowly bringing them out to yuta's vehicle. the blonde haired male stood staring at taeyong's dad who watched silently from the porch. that stupid smug smirk on his dumb face.

the male passed crying boys in the living room countless times, heart clenching with every sob that filled his ears. but this was it, this was all he could do, it pained him heavily. believe it truly did.. but he couldn't live this way anymore.

no more.. said a silent voice. once he was done, taeyong kneeled to eye level with his brothers no matter how much it caused him to wince.

dark hazel eyes stared into honey brown orbs, overflowing with youth.. fear.. desperation. biting down on his lip and holding back tears, the red haired boy gently spoke to his brothers. loud enough so that only their little ears heard him well.

"i will.. i will always come back for you, okay?" words spewed past quivering lips, breaking with each breath. "you stay strong for me until then. we'll be together again soon.." he mumbled and pulled them into a tight hug. eyes squeezing shut once a few tears cascaded down rosy cheeks.

taeyong heard soft pattering of heels behind him and slowly pulled back to stare at a disheartened mother. as he stood from where he kneeled, words of spiteful origin dangling off his tongue.

fighting against the urges, the strong will to tell her about herself once more he decided for the better. not in front of them, not here.. not now. and with that thought he turned a cold shoulder to the woman who willingly shushed him away.

disgruntled noises arised from the front door, beckoning him outside. "it pains me, more than it does you, but you're a disgrace," were the last words his father spoke before shutting the door in his face.

this was it, it was the moment he treaded but knew he couldn't escape. as taeyong trudged his way back to yuta's car his body slowly began giving out on him. stopping halfway along the pavement to turn one more glance to the house he grew up in his whole life.

gone.. down the drain like that. the realization all tumbling down on him at once and falling to his knees helplessly. the tears racked through him like a train, choking on his breath and holding his arms around himself.

a broken hearted yuta watch on, eventually overcoming his tense stance and helping taeyong into the car.

glazed eyes watched as the only life he knew, fade into the distance, and pain settled in deep within his heart..

JW'S POV

jungwoo listened to the silent sobs from the otherside of the door. him and yuta had been helping taeyong settle into his home, all that was heard was covered sniffles and whispered replies.

the moment they finished, sandy hair flow past them and into the guest room. requesting alone time as the boy put it, not stopping to listen to his friends' pitiful words.

grumbling, whimpering, harsh words soon filled the room. yuta kissed his boyfriend goodbye, telling him to call if he or taeyong needed anything at all. unable to listen to the grief repleted words being spoken.

jungwoo was left to hear his best friend tear himself down for finally putting himself first, and escaping a situation that he needed to leave. "taeyong let me in please.." the raven muttered, finally having enough of it.

not even waiting for the confirmation, he entered and immediately cradled him in his arms. taeyong unable to fight in this state only caved into the affection, weeping uncontrollably and grasping onto jungwoo tightly as if he would run away.

the night went on like this, for lord knows how long and it didn't even matter. jungwoo would do anything for his friend, anything.
