The Sunset driver

Him Again!?!

Cole POV.
   

     I woke up to my alarm blaring. I shut it off by slapping the top of it with my hand. I rubbed my eyes as I got up then took a shower.

       Once I was finished with my shower I went downstairs and put a strawberry pop tart in the toaster. Once it signaled it was done I took it out and ate it. I yawned before going upstairs to brush my teeth then put on clothes that weren't pajamas. My outfit of the day was a black tank top and black shorts.

     I looked at my plain clothes but shrugged I wasn't going anywhere but to the beach later. I wonder if that guy was going to be there. Is he hot or cute what if he thinks I'm h- what am I thinking!? I can't be thinking of a stranger like that! But I mean oh well I can't say I've never fantasized of getting married to a stranger. Ugh I need to stop talking about my past life!

Once I was finished getting ready I decided on just sitting in my apartment and chilling till it was time to go to the beach. I had taken the week off. I have no vacation plans this year so I will be taking two random weeks off.

    After awhile of doing nothing I decided that I couldn't sit around all day long so I am going to the park! I got up and grabbed my car keys, and wallet. I made sure I had my phone then out the door I went. I got into my car and drove to the park as slow as I could,so I didn't have to spend forever in my apartment.

         I arrived at the park but decided to drive around first. As I was driving around I saw the guy from last night the guy that was on the motorcycle. But he was with a girl so now I know he is straight. Oh well happens all the time I'm used to it.

         I continued driving around until I reached the parking spaces that were closest to the pond.I got out of my car and walked to a place my mom and I used to sit before she passed. It was a beautiful place with fresh grass all year and there was a beautiful weeping willow over it and it had a amazing view of the pond.

           I walked over to the spot and sat down bringing my knees to my chest looking at the pond. I usually come here when I am sad but today I'm just really really bored. As I got lost in my own thoughts I was barely able to hear the footsteps from behind. I chose not to pay attention to them waiting for them to go away but they didn't they just got closer. Until finally I felt something or someone sit next to me. I waited for them to get up but instead they spoke "why did you sit here there's thousands of other places with more people" the guy said and I just looked down. Staring at the grass I spoke up in a quiet voice "I wanted to be alone" I'm not shy when I'm around people I know but strangers are another story. Even if they are hot or cute social anxiety always gets the best of me. The guy sighed then gave me a pat on the back "maybe I'll see you around" he said and I nodded and he stood up and walked away. I let out a sigh that I didn't know I was holding in once is footsteps disappeared.

          Once I thought about it I wondered if it was the motorcycle guy. But I just let my knees fall hearing them pop. I cringed at the noise but back to the guy. There is no way it was him well actually there is a way but it wasn't him.

       I inhaled a deep breath then exhaled it. I stood up and started walking to my car again. I got in the drivers seat and put the key in before twisting it. I backed out and drove around the park again before leaving. The motorcycle guy was getting ready to leave when I saw him. Why do I care so much about this guy! Oh my God I can't believe this! This stranger is stuck in my head for no reason at all. Whatever it doesn't matter what matters is ice cream.

         Because when I get to my apartment I was going to eat a whole tub of ice cream before going to the beach. I kept driving until I arrived at my apartment building. I parked my car in my normal spot before going inside. I jogged up to my apartment so I wouldn't have to interact with people. I unlocked my door as fast as I could then ran inside shutting it behind me.

I sighed and sat on my couch starting to fall asleep but I forced myself to stay awake. I turned on stranger things watching as elven made the train cart move. I eventually got bored and turned off my TV. Sighing I closed my eyes but then remembered I was going to have some ice cream. So I jumped up and ran to my freezer. Once I opened it I grabbed the whole tub because I am the only one who lives here and began to eat all of it.

It was only half way full so I ate it while I watched Sam and Colby (they are YouTubers that hunt ghost). I finished the ice cream in the blink of an eye not literally but it was really fast. I checked the time and wow, it was time to get ready for the beach. I ran to my wardrobe and pulled out swim trunks with pineapple's on it and a blue back ground then a tank top to match. With that and my beach bag I was ready to go.
