The Sunset driver

Im sorry!

(This is probably at the most gonna be 500 words bc I'm not really motivated)

Cole pov

      I felt the bowl slip out of my hands as I looked over Kai's shoulder. Kai jumped back mouth agape. "Cole it's not what it looks like" he said in a panic. I felt tears prick at my eyes. I can't cry not infront of him. I couldn't help it though the tears started pouring out of my eyes faster than I knew it.

     Kai reached out for me but I backed up. "WHAT IS IT THEN?" I yelled tears streaming down my face. Kai looked at me and opened his arms for a hug. I looked into his eyes he looked sad like maybe it was a joke.

       "I'll explain everything Cole just come here" he said. I didn't want to forgive him but I love him and if I didn't forgive him and let himself explain the situation then I could loose him. Before I knew it I was running into his arms. Kai kept whispering soothing words into my ear like. "It's okay baby I'm here", or "I'm sorry", and even "it'll be alright just calm down" he whispered many more things but I couldn't understand them really.

        Finally I stopped crying just sniffing and Kai explained himself. And when he got done I started crying again. Why? Because I can't believe how I reacted I should of let him explain before yelling at him and crying like that. I acted just like my father. Kai pulled me closer and led me to the couch letting me lay on his chest as I continued to cry. Whenever Kai caressed my back I cried harder. It reminded me of when my dad yelled at me and when my mom was alive how she would always calm me by rubbing my back. Oh I missed my mom. She died from cancer. She was the only person I had.

      Slowly I stopped crying looking up at Kai with my trembling lip. "Let me go get some ice cream then we can watch whatever you want." I nodded and sat up so he could go get ice cream. I really wanted to watch the little mermaid animated (sorry I have nothing against live action but I just like cartoon better). I smiled as Kai came back with two tubs of ice cream and two spoons. I grabbed the remote turning on the movie and laid my head on Kai's lap.

       My eyes were still puffy but I didn't mind I mean I had ice cream. I grabbed the chocolate one the second Kai opened it. Kai laughed loudly and handed me a spoon. I watched the movie while eating my ice cream. It was amazing. The only thing more amazing is if we would of also had sprinkles. Dumb Kai forgetting my sprinkles. Oh well I'll be fine for now. I might get pissy in a bit though. I'm just kidding do I look like Jay.

     Not even halfway through the movie I fell asleep but don't worry I finished my ice cream so we are all good!
