Chapter 6 Oh No Please No!

*Abby’s Point of View*

I sat there in complete and utter shock; there stood Summer Evans. What does she want?

“Hello Abby. Long time no see.”

Keep your cool, don’t freak out, just because she ruined your life once doesn’t mean you should strike out and kill her with a fork. Just be civil.

“Hello, what do you want?” well that didn’t go as planned.

“What makes you think I want something? Can’t I just say hello to an old friend?”

“You stole my boyfriend and my best friend you destroyed every rule in the book, you obviously want something.”

“Well I just came to let you know stay away from Harry I’m not done with him yet.”

“Why are you telling me this?”

“Because you are the only one that’s standing in the way of me and Harry getting back together and if you remember I always get what I want.”

I feel my hands ball up into fist under the table I’m seriously debating jumping over the table and taking a swing at her pretty little face. I wouldn’t do much just a little rearranging you know break her nose maybe jab out on of her eye balls nothing she can’t live without.

        “Summer just go away.”

“Fine but I’m not done with you yet.”

I glower at her retreating figure. I seriously hate that girl! She’s made my life a living heck! That’s when I noticed Harry walking back up to the table I instantly feel a little calmer. That is until he opened his mouth.

“What did Summer want?

“Do we need to discuss this now?”

“I think that it would be good for me to know just in case something bad happens.”

“Fine Summer came over to tell me to stay away from you; and that she ‘always gets what she wants’ I swear that girl thinks she owns the world.” I roll my eyes at the thought. “Did she say anything to you?”

“She said that she would be seeing a lot more of me what do you think that means?”

*Harry’s Point of View*

Abby gets a strange look on her face oh boy that’s never good.

“Well Harry I think it means that Summer has a way to see you more often such as getting hired at the same job as you, moving into the same apartment complex as you etc.”

“WHAT?!” I half yelled half screeched.

        “You heard me.”

“This can’t be good. I could have to see her every day, I’m not prepared to handle that again it killed me working at the bakery with her every day after you left.” I think I’m going to hyperventilate.

“Ok Harry, calm down. It might not be so bad. I could be taking what she said the wrong way. Just keep your cool and I’ll help you figure out what to do when the time comes ok?”

        “Ok.”

“Harry don’t be too worried; if things get out of hand you can always call the police and get a restraining order.”

“Yah I suppose you’re right,” I sighed, I still had a bad feeling in the pit of my gut.

“Let’s get our minds off of this and talk about something else.”

        “Alright,” I agreed readily.

“I’ll get started what have you’ve been doing these past few years?”

“Well after you left I went to university and got a degree in sports medicine then I went around the world for a while taking some odd jobs here and there and now I’m going to live in London permanently and I just got a job as a personal trainer for the gym around the corner. What about you?”

“I went to university here and got a Bachelor of Arts degree. I danced with one of the dance troupes here while I was in university and after I got my degree I opened a dance studio a few blocks away.”

        “So you’re still dancing?”

“Yup I wasn’t planning on quitting; I danced for over eighteen years.”

“Do you teach any of the classes or are you just the owner?”

“I teach the older girls tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and acro.”

        “Hmm very cool.”

“Yah I suppose what do you do for fun?”

“I like to play football (soccer), cook, sing, play video games etc. what about you?”

“I like to go shopping with my friends, listen to music, sing, dance, run, and do yoga down at the gym.”

“Look I know it’s kinda early but I have a new client I have to go meet with, would you like to go to dinner with me later and continue this conversation?”

“Sure I’ll text you my address and you text me the details?”

“Yup alright, I’ll see you later.”

        “Bye.”
