~ Time Skip ~

~ At Jungkook's House ~

You get out of the car and look at the mansion in which you are going to spend the rest of your life. Guards surrounding the premises you felt a sense of security in case something were to go wrong but you knew if you wanted to sneak out that there was no such thing as doing so with the guards around. Jungkook walks into the mansion while you follow behind, as soon as you enter you are greeted by maids and Jungkook introduces you to your maid. You look up to see a woman who appears to be in her late 40's greeting you with a welcoming smile. Jungkook, who had just introduced you to everyone, had disappeared into his room. You sigh as your maid takes you to your room. After reaching the room the maid introduces herself as Areum but didn't mind if she was called ajumma (middle-aged woman).

You get undressed and go to take a long-deserved shower. As you are showering you begin crying as you already miss your parents. Thinking about how your mum is coping since your dad is an alcoholic, as the thoughts are rushing through your head you take a warm shower trying to clear your mind of such thoughts. After showering you change into the comfortable clothes left for you then sit on the bed going through your phone. Sometime later the maid enters your room "Y/n dear it's time for dinner" "Ok Ajumma I'll be there". She leaves the room and you get out of bed following behind her. When reaching the dining room you expected to see Jungkook waiting but you were greeted by a long empty table. "Ajumma? Where is Jungkook?" "He is eating in his study dear". You sigh as you think about how you need to get used to eating by yourself without any company.

Taking a seat at the table you slowly begin eating your food as the maids are silently watching you miserably eat by yourself. When you finish your dinner you wash your hands and return to your room. Not having anything else to do you get into bed and try to sleep. You spent some time tossing and turning trying to sleep. Seconds turn to minutes and minutes turn to hours.

It's now 2 am. Not being able to sleep you quietly get out of bed to go to the kitchen to get a warm cup of milk. As you are tiptoeing from your room to the kitchen you hear faint groans coming from the door heading towards the basement.

As you are drawn to the noise you go closer to the door then put your ear against the door and hear a man's voice. "Keep a close eye on him". "T-that sounds like Jungkook" You keep your ear on the door to find that everything has gone silent.

Remembering what Jungkook said to you while you were both in the car made you back away from the door and mind your own business. Just as you were doing so the door creaked open. "What are you doing?", he said.
