Alex's POV
Lily ran into my room and jumped up and down, squealing. She crawled onto my bed and threw herself down on me,
'Get up, Alex! Get up!" She yelled as I was getting up, I rubbed my eyes and yawned, grabbed my phone off the dresser and read the time. 7:30!? I am meant to take Lily out at 8.
"Shit!" I slammed my phone back on the dresser and scurried out of bed and into the bathroom, I heard Lily gasp and yell at me;
"That's a swear! I'm telling mum!" she ran down the stairs as I shut the door and turned on the shower and undressed my self.
After a shower I wrapped the towel around my waist and searched for clothes in my drawer, a green tank top and black jeans. Once dressed I ran downstairs with my boots and threw them on the couch, dad was making bacon and eggs for Lily and mum was unwrapping presents with her.
"Alex, I told you not to swear." Dad flicked the back of my head when I looked into the pan on the stove, Lily ran into the kitchen clutching a purple penny board in her arms;
"Alex look! Its like yours!" She showed me, mine was blue and bigger- not like hers. I turned and sprinted upstairs, I ran back down a moment later with a small wrapped present and handed it to Lily as dad served breakfast. She thanked me and unwrapped it, she looked so happy when she saw the necklace she'd been begging for. A golden chained opal just like mum's, mum helped her put it on and she gave me a tight hug.
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" She cried before admiring it closely, dad sat a plate of food in front of us and I stuffed a fork of bacon into my mouth.
After breakfast I cleaned my teeth and slipped my shoes on as I waited for Lily. She ran out of her room wearing pink skinny jeans and a rainbow, striped top with her penny and satchel. I picked up mine and we rode down the street to ' Freddy Fazbear's Pizza'.
