[I let everything go and ran to the scream. I see Cecilia on the floor crying. Her leg stuck under a fallen tree]
Me: What happened?!
Cecilia: Don't you see I'm stuck! Help me!
[In my head I was thinking," This girl's crazy!" Though to my discovery as I lifted the tree I noticed her leg wound. It looked deep and like a broken leg.]
Me: Oh why!? What?!
Cecilia: It just fell as I passed by!
[ I knew she was in tremendous pain so I rushed to attend her as soon as I could. I ran and brought the mosquito netting. She flinched as I tightened the netting around her leg. I carried her back to the fire. She held on to me very tightly as we trotted back.]
Cecilia: This hurts so much!
Me: I don't know much about injuries but I'll do my best.
[I wrapped even more netting around the injury to stop the bleeding rate.]
Me: That should do it. I think.
Cecilia: Ow!
Me: I need you to relax. I've done all that I know and we need to get you somewhere safe.
Cecilia: Where will we go?! We're on an island for crying out loud!
Me: Just relax I'll figure something out.
Cecilia: I don't know how to.
Me: I'll try something. I hope this works.
[ I grab her hand and hold it ever so closely]
Cecilia: What are you doing?
Me: Something new.
[ I grab her arm and squeeze it as hard as I can. Then, I tickle her in every place possible. She busts out laughing almost forgetting the pain from her injury.]
Me: I've heard laughter is a good remedy.
[She just smiles at me and stares at my lips.]
Cecilia: I didn't notice you had a mustache!
Me: Well, now you know. I also think you're beautiful.
[Her cheeks flashing red. The sudden urge to kiss came to me.]
Me: Come here.
[She put her face close to mine. I leaned in on her lips. I could tell it wasn't fake by the way she came close. Slower and slower as we both stared in each others eyes. The moment was just right. We kissed. It wasn't a super long one but it felt like the world to me. Her lips soft to the touch as if they were made of peach skin. I didn't want anything more in the world. I realized now that she too had feelings for me.]
