Chapter IX

Reader's POV

As my eyes couldn't see anything, i felt i was being carried on two arms, probably bridal style. soon, i was carried up the trees tops, the person who carried my ran off really quickly. we passed a lot of tress, leaves fell down tangled in my hair. 

i struggled to free myself, but i seen to fail. i tried opening my blindfold, but a hand stopped mine. i noticed from the body structure, that i as kidnapped by a man. suddenly, that person carrying me stopped his leaping and stood up on the branch. he then jumped down to solid ground, after sitting me against a tree, he jumped back up to the top.

i tried my best and finally got my blindfold to open. i looked up and saw Claude and another butler dressed man with straight black hair. they were fighting and throwing knives at each other. as Claude throws his golden ones, the other butler threw butter knives towards him.

Many knives fallen down near me, fortunately not one of them hit me. i kept on watching them fight until they suddenly disappear leaving me alone.

"Somebody! Help! Please! Somebody! Anybody!" i shouted for help. i was desperate, no one was there, or even near my location. i shouted couple more times but no sign of help. i started to cry out tears, "Please... Someone... help," i begged.

i suddenly heard bushes rumbled hoping it was someone. it turns out to be a bird. it flew next to me and pecked its beak on my arm.

"Shoo! Go away you pest!" i got pissed off.

it continued to peck on my arm and pecking on my head.

"Hey shoo! go away!" not long, both my arms are full of bruises.

I cried tears and shouted, "Alois, please help... don't leave me alone! Alois!"

"(y/n)? is that you?" Alois suddenly popped out behind a tree running, panting coming towards me...

"Alois!" i shouted.

he hugged me and started to untie my legs.

"What happened? your body, it's full of bruises? what did the kidnapper do?" He asked concerned.

"A bird pecked all over my body, curse that bird!" i shrugged.

"Do you, know who kidnapped you?"

"I don't know that well. that person was a boy. he carried me and leaped from tree-to-tree in a flash. suddenly, he stopped and placed me down here. he jumped back up and i struggled to open my blind fold. i saw Claude throwing knives with another butler with straight black hair."

"Sebastian! Damn, that Phantomhive!" he shouted.

"Sebastian?" i asked

"He's a butler of the Phantomhive manor. the one fighting with Claude earlier."

i nodded. "Where are they now?" he asked again

"I have no idea. they just vanished into the air!" i said.

"Come, let's head back to my manor and get your bruises fix"

i nodded and started to stand. i wobbled and fell on my knees.

"Can you walk?" Alois ask lending his hand out.

i took his hand, standing slowly, "I think i can walk." i said.

"Are you sure?"

"I believe so, if I'm allowed to do this," i said, placing my hand over Alois' shoulder and started to walk.

"It's fine, you may. Let's start walking,"

Alois' POV

We walked towards the manor and soon enough managed to arrive there. After we went in, i place (y/n) in my room, sitting on my chair.

"(y/n) i'll go get the aid kit," i said leaving her.

i soon went back and found her still sitting down, blowing her arm.

"Does it hurts?" i asked.

"Yes, it's really painful. especially this one," she pointed at the bruise which appears to be worse than the others on her arm.

"Stay still," i said as i poured alcohol on piece of cotton. i slowly dabbed the cotton on her bruises.

"Argh... Alois, that hurts!" (y/n) squirmed.

i blew on the bruises as i dabbed them with alcohol. After i finished cleaning her bruises, i sticked on a sticky bandage on the worst bruise to contact with objects.

i soon realise that (y/n) fell asleep sitting on my chair. i moved her slowly and laid her down on my bed. i kissed her forehead and said, "Sleep well my fairest butterfly, you had a long day."

i slid down the bed sheet and slept with (y/n) by my side...
