The other Mayfield (Stranger things)

New girl

Today it was mine and Maxs first day at our new school. Our brother got out of the car and everyone was looking at him I find that good because I don't want anything on me. 

"Bye Amber" Max said and skated away. "Bye Max" I said and started walking towards my new school.

I walked into my new classroom and all eyes went on me but I just walked to my seat a girl next to me and handed me a paper. It was a party. 

"I'm Nancy" The girl said with a smile. "I'm Amber" I said with a smile back. I will admit she is cute.

"Are you going" Nancy asked. "Maybe" I said. "You should come" Nancy said and wrote down notes.

The bell rang and I started looking for my locker and turns out it was right next to Nancys. I watched her walk down with a boy and then when she came to our lockers another boy picked her up.

"Omg take those off" Nancy said. "I missed you" The boy said. "Its been a hour" Nancy said. "Tell me about it" The boy said.

"Steve this is Amber, Amber this is Steve" Nancy said. "You are the new girl" Steve said. "Yeah" I said.

"So are you going to the party" Steve asked. "She said Maybe" Nancy said. "I am coming Nancy said I should" I said with a smile. 

"Great" Steve said and walked away. "So you made up your mind" Nancy said with a smile. "Yeah do I have to dress up or can I just go in a black dress" I asked.

"You can go in anything you want" Nancy said. "Good so black dress it is" I said and closed my locker and walked away.

Time skip

I walk into the arcade hoping to see Max and I did she was playing her favorite game she has the highest score. 

"Hey Max" I said and hugged her. "Hey Amber" Max said and hugged back. We hated Billy so we always stuck together we are really close.
