"boss, someone has been bothering ms O'Connell at her apartment, they have been banging on her door for quite some time" my eyebrows furrow as I look into the videos they have sent.
it's a drunk male.
"he has been going on with something about his child for half an hour. ms O'Connell had opened the door the first time"
"you guys take care of him and get him here alive and sobered up, I'm on my way to her" I tell him.
"yes boss" I hang up and change my clothes, I get security to follow me on the way.
"fucking hell" I mutter while I change before I go, I'd rather not go out in public during day time.
shit happens and to prevent it I go out at night incase shit goes down, so no innocent people get traumatized.
I rock on my shoes a bit with my hands on my pockets as I wait for billie to open the door, she opens it at the slightest and peeks out before letting out a sigh and opens it fully for me.
"hi, what are you doing here?" she asks letting me in, I glance around the small apartment with a frown on my face before I put on a smile and turn to her.
"I just wanted to see you and I was free today, so I thought I could just drop by" I tell her.
"I wasn't prepared but sure", she says with a chuckle, I put my arms out for a hug that she immediately steps into.
I pull her closer and take in her new perfume, my hand rubs her upper back before she pulls away.
"let's not get used to the unexpected guest thing, I appreciate you thinking about me but next time text me on your way atleast" she tells me and pats my chest.
"got it, you're good though?" I ask as I follow her to the kitchen where she opens the fridge making me smile at the sight of a full fridge.
"I'm good, you want something to drink?" I shake my head making her shrug.
"you caught me at a wrong time, you do mind waiting on the couch?" I nod before a small human waddles in the kitchen wrapped in a towel.
"mommy" I smile watching billie pick up the little girl and place on her hip, she smiles shyly at me while hiding in Billie's neck.
I stand up walking towards them and ask for permission from Billie to pick her up, "hi pretty girl" I cooe making sure to keep her towel around her.
"what's your name?" I ask rubbing her cheek, she giggles hiding in my neck.
"Vi" I look at Billie, who has a smile looking at her daughter, "her name is violet but everyone calls her vi" she tells me.
"you're so pretty vi" I tell her as I hand her over, she giggles with me hands on her mouth making me smile.
"I'm quickly going to dress her and put her down for a nap" Billie tells me, "make your comfortable" she tells me walking away.
I take a seat on the couch and scroll through my phone while I wait, "I swear my daughter has a crush on you with the way she was giggling" billie says entering the room again.
I laugh switching off my phone as she sits next to me on the couch, "she's so cute" I say turning to her, she told her eyes with a small smile.
"she gets it from her mom though, you're pretty cute yourself" I tell her making her blush.
"please shut up" she says turning away from me.
