"they're here," his mom yelled from the kitchen. jeremiah tore down the stairs and opened the front door.

"what's up," he exclaimed hugging laurel before greeting steven.

"look who came back all growed up," he grinned, twirling belly around in a hug. "where's rory? i thought she was coming with you guys?"

"she did," belly smirked, "she's just asleep."

hearing all the commotion woke the girl from her travel-induced slumber. she finally got out of the car and jeremiah felt as if time stopped.

"i've loved you three summers now, honey, but i want them all."

that was new. he'd never had taylor swift play in his head when he looked at anyone. had he died? he was dead and the angel in front of him was taking him to heaven.

he shook the thoughts out of his head before tackling her in a hug. "ror-ster!! i missed you!" the two teenagers rolled across the yard.

"i missed you too, miah," she smiled leaning into his hand as the boy tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"jere, stop hogging rory," susannah yelled from where everyone was watching them on the porch.

jeremiah flushed as rory went slightly pale. he stood up extending a hand to her which she gladly accepted. jeremiah stood with a smile, watching her hug his mom.

"you're drooling," conrad stated. jeremiah rolled his eyes before joining steven in their yearly tradition.

"is it? i think it's time for a belly flop," the boys cheered. rory had never seen the infamous belly flop, considering she was normally flying in from texas. she trailed behind the boys as they carried belly towards the pool.

"one, two, three," they yelled as they swung her into the pool. jeremiah turned to look at rory with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"miah, i'm wearing white," rory backed away from the pool. jeremiah, ignoring the girl's pleas, threw her over his shoulder and walked back towards the pool.

"any last words?" rory screamed as she hit the water, a cold shock filling her veins.

for a moment, all rory felt was cold. then she felt anger. jeremiah fisher was a dead man.

"jeremiah," rory yelled. jeremiah blanched, rory never used his full name. "will you at least get me a towel," she sighed. he cocked his head to the side like a lost puppy.

"why can't you just go get one?" rory loved jeremiah but he was a himbo of a caliber higher than kronk from the emperor's new groove.

"because not only was my shirt white, so was my bra," she exclaimed. "and i really don't feel like flashing all of you."

"i mean, i wouldn't be opposed," he smirked.

"if you enjoy not having nair in your shampoo, you'll get me a towel," rory smiled.

"yes ma'am," jeremiah put both hands up in surrender, going to grab her a towel.
