Okay, guys here is a short new chapter... I know I've been gone forever and I have read your messages and I would totally understand if you're mad. I don't have any excuses, because school isn't really one. I shouldn't have left you. I apologize for that. I can't say when I'll update again, I don't know if that will be in a week, a month or maybe even two but what I do know is that school is coming to an end in less than 2 months. Which will mean that I'll have time to write again and that there will an update at least twice a month and I know/ hope that you guys will like that. So I would like to thank you for waiting and for keeping up with me. So with no other things to say except that I still love you till the end of the rainbow, here is a new chapter. Have fun xx

Chapter 8

We didn't tell anyone, we were coming back, some may had thought about it and told them self that we wouldn't be gone for too long. These people were right, Ian was one of them, he offered to let us stay at his house, coz well we sold ours. I am afraid that Kate will miss her old room, it was special to her and even though she got an amazing experience, she still is a child and children have connections with their toys and stuff. Once we found a new house, they will send our stuff to the new house, we're hoping to find a new house within a week and I know that is quite impossible. This has to be the house where we will settle down.

I didn't know if Kate would still remember everyone. When we walked out of our gate with some of our luggage, Kate dropped hers and run, like she had never run before, her little legs going as fast as the wind, my face lit up when I saw who she was running to. She hasn't forgotten.

"Hey, hey, hey. Urghh who is this kiddo? This isn't my little Kate, is it?" Ian said, Kate laughed and hugged Ian tight. "I missed you" I heard Kate whispering in Ian's ear. Ian took my bag and gave me a hug.

"You're home, finally!"

"Glad to be home" I answered.

Ian placed the bags in the trunk and put Kate in a car seat, he really thought about this. The drive back was pretty quiet except some small talk between Ian and I, Kate had fallen asleep after driving for only 10 minutes.

I turned the radio on, to avoid the awkward silence, my song came on, our song, I smiled and turned the radio up a little more.

"What are you smiling about?"

"This song" I said in such a happy tone.

"Sweet thing?" He asked me,

"Yeah, Tim and I danced to this on our first date." I explained. The smile on his face changed to a little frown.

"You thought,.. ooh no." I tried to figure my words out but the only thing coming out was words without any meaning.

"Mommy?" Kate asked, thank god for this child, she saved me.

"Yeah sweetie?"

"Can we listen to Taylor?" She asked me, she has been obsessed with her, I taught her well. I connected my phone with the radio and played her oldest album, she has been really in love with Our song, which is the song that made me become a fan. The mood changed immediately, Kate sang along to the chorus and I helped her out during the rest of the song. When the second chorus came, I just couldn't help myself.

'Cause our song is the slamming screen door,

Sneakin' out late, tapping on his window

When we're on the phone and he talks real slow

'cause it's late and his mama don't know

Our song is the way he laughs

The first date: "Man, I didn't kiss him, when I should have"

And when I got home ... 'fore I said amen

Asking God if he could play it again

Play it again

Oh, yeah...

Oh-oh, yeah.

I was riding shotgun

With my hair undone

In the front seat of his car

I grabbed a pen

And an old napkin

And I wrote down our song

While the song ended, Ian mentioned we arrived at his house. We were welcomed by the loud bark of his two dogs.
