The moles POV
I watch as Gregory's eyes examine me, the conflict pooling in them makes me anxious.
Does he hate me?
Probably.
In fact definitly, yes.Everyone hates me juts like I want them to...
But Gregory.... I don't want him to hate hate me.
I want him to hate me in a cute friendly really I like you way.Well god damn it im yanking myself towards the I utterly despise ze mole territory now aren't I.
"Do you wanna maybe go on a little adventure." I suggest quickly in order to stop Gregory's potential thoughts of hating my guts.
"Uh well sure I suppose we could-"
"Gregory dear" his mother knocks before opening the door.
"yes mother?"
"Estellas mother would like for you to call her."
"To call Estella or her mother..."
"Estella of course" she speaks matter of factly rolling her eyes at her son before smiling at me warmly just as she leaves the room.
"Well she clearly likes you very much, congratulations"
Gregory utters as he scrolls through his contact."Do not say a word" he warns me. I put my finger to my lips as if to tell him I'm quiet as a mouse.
"As long as you put it on loud speaker"He rolls his eyes.
"Fine."
The phone rings once before being answered. Damn she must be an eager girl.
"Hello Gregory my beloved" her voice drips with privilege.
"Hello darling" I almost snigger at how Gregory's happy, excitable voice is paired with his unamused expression.
I can already tell he doesn't like this girl, he couldn't possibly."When are you going to visit meeee." The female on the line whines like a spoilt little brat.
"Not anytime soon I'm afraid, school work is really pilling up right now sweetie."
Well that's clearly a lie but of course she believes it becauee her beloved fiancée or whatever you call it would never lie to her.
"Oh how disappointing...I MISS YOU SO MUCH".
Gregory seems shocked by the random squealing outburst."I miss you too honey."
The girl on the phone giggles before saying her goodbyes.
Gregory throws his phone to the other side of his bed.
"UGHHHH"
"You okay buddy" I ask menacingly.
"I do not want to be engaged" he whines.
And I don't want you to be engaged for fuck sake.
"Stop being engaged then" I conclude.
He gives me a shiver inducing death stare. "Damn why didn't I think of that, what a suggestion."
I snigger at his annoyance. He's so so cute when he's angry I like him.
"Put the Tv on, I'm too depressed to move"
I huff flicking though his Disney plus. Fucking hell he's demanding.*a few months later*
I watch as his veiny arms bulge in PE class as he tosses the basket ball towards me. Fuck.
"Your supped to catch the ball not let it hit you in the face scruffy" he teases.
"I don't think there's a rule that says don't get hit in ze face"
"It's implied."
"Nuh uh"
"Yeah"
"Nope"
He huffs in annoyance still managing to catch the ball I aggressively aim in his direction.
"Nice try ratty"
"What's with all of ze nicknames today Hm? Tryna butter me up sweet cheeks?"
His face burns red with annoyance as he flimsily throws the ball being caught off guard.
"Shut up."
"Make me"
"UGHHH"
He lunges at me giving me multiple baby slaps around the face making me giggle.
"Boys, enough, detention."
We both sigh as we'd been on a no detention streak for at least 4 days.
"Oh well."
He Huffs in agreement offering me a hand to help me up. I accept just as an excuse to touch his soft little hands that are surprisingly delicate for the amount of jousting he does.I could hold his hands for days.
He's perfect.
