Chapter 15: The Aftermath pt 2

Vanitas POV

I was inside my bathroom looking myself in the mirror.

Vanitas: Great, now I look more like a vampire.

I now having two sharp fangs, my eye have small black out line to it. I also found out that my inside have changed, my bone and organ seem to be able to stretch, bend like rubber.

Vanitas: *sigh* Now I'm even less human.

I don't know what I am anymore. I then look towards the clock seeing it was 9:05 AM. I don't even bother going to class today I stay here and try to figure out what I can do with this new ability.

Pyrrha POV

It was lunch, Vanitas haven't attend any classes today and team RWBY have been quiet, they don't even seem to look happy like their usual self.

Jaune: So Weiss, I was thinking can we go out this weekend. You know like to study.

Normal Weiss would respond by turning him down but now she just ignore him. Nora try to strike up a conversation with Yang but it doesn't go long, Blake just keep on reading and Ruby don't even eat.

Pyrrha: *sigh* Guy are you okay?

Weiss: Maybe not.

Ruby: Vanitas wanted to cut off our friendship.

Jaune: Well you guy don't need someone like him as your friend.

Ren: From what I see he is cold and dangerous but that is just what I see, I don't know him like you guys do.

Ruby: Well he is kind and caring, he can play music, have many cool items that we can only dream of having.

Yang: He can sometime be cold but he can cook and make stuff. I really enjoyed his cooking.

Weiss: He might be a bit hard to deal with and a jerk sometime but he only doing that to keep other away from him.

Blake: He is the type of guy that love someone without needing them to love him back.

We all look at Blake.

Blake: He hated himself the most, he thinks that there won't be anyone that would love him.

Weiss: He is interested in me because I don't like him, I try being mean to him but that just make him like me more. He teases me alot with annoyed me but I don't hate it either.

Jaune: You actually like being teased by him?

Weiss: Where I come from we don't show much love or emotions, people like me because of my family name, money, look. But he like me because of who I am. I don't have to put up a face when around him, I can yell at him, being mean to him, he still won't hate or be mean to me.

Ruby: I also love him but fearing that he would hate me, I once ask him out but he thinks I was just messing with him.

Blake: He is different from all other people I met, he is unique, honest, truthful, he doesn't lie, he said what's on his mind.

Yang: He is a good cook, each day we enjoy his cooking in breakfast and dinner, he-he made our mother cookies.

Yang and Ruby start to cry.

Yang: She always make us cookies when we were kids, after announced dead years ago, we haven't taste it in years but he made them. Exactly like them. It's like eating our mother cooking again.

Pyrrha: Don't tell me...you all are in love with him?

They all turn away avoiding the question. From what I can see they all have feeling for him but they don't want to admit it.

Vanitas: Pyrrha.

I turn to my left seeing Vanitas, we all jump from our seat.

Jaune: What are you doing here!?

Vanitas: Here.

He give a orange pendent.

Pyrrha: Uh, this isn't mine.

Vanitas: I know I am giving it to you.

Nora: Alright you meany stay away from her or I will break your leg.

Vanitas: This Ember Pendent give the wearer fire resistant, I know this isn't the right time to give this to you and you may not even keep it. But this is just in case you have to fight with someone that use fire again.

Pyrrha: Thank...

I take the pendent.

Jaune: So you are bribing her now, you really are horrible.

Vanitas: Anyway bye.

Pyrrha: Wait! Why don't you join us for lunch.

Vanitas: I can't.

Ruby: But-

Vanitas: The cafeteria lady don't serve villain like me, only huntsman and huntress.

Blake: Can we at least just eat with you!?

Vanitas: Heh? I don't think that-

Weiss: We don't care!

Yang: Yeah! You don't have to distance yourself from everyone.

Ruby: Even after what happened you are still out friends. So please Vanitas.

He didn't answer only continue to walk.

Suddenly an ice wall appear infront of him stopping him on his track.

Vanitas: Weiss.

He turn back looking at us

Weiss: I won't let you go! You maybe mean, a jerk, but you are the one.

Vanitas: Heh?

Weiss: You don't see me for my family name, money, not even for my look. You see me for who I am. So please don't leave.

Vanitas: Are sure about this?

RWBY: Yes!

Vanitas: *sigh* You guy can move back to night.

I could see team RWBY expression turn from sadness and worry to happy.

Vanitas: I have something to do first, so see you later.

He then walk away as team RWBY now have a more joyful expression, even Blake who normally don't show much expression are having a warm smile.

Vanitas POV

After my talk with them I walk outside of the cafeteria and continue to walk through the schoolyard until I stop at the corner of one of the building.

Vanitas: Alright show yourself, I know you are here. All of you.

And just on cue many students from first to second even third year walk out they all holding their weapon. As they start to circle around me.

Student 1: We been waiting for you, villain.

Student 2: Get really because we will make you regret ever laying your hand on our queen!

Student 3: We will make sure you pay for hurting our queen.

Vanitas: Heh. I didn't know that Pyrrha have a fan club with suicidal fan.

I open my book as the page start to flip on it own with blue light flying out.
