A duo once inseparable being split by the inevitable force of time.

Tommy was strolling down a park with his family, who had taken him in years ago.
Still quite unbelievable how long ago that was.
But Tommy is happy now, he has a family that loves and takes care of him.
He started to subtly collect flowers and kept them out of his brother's radar to make sure they do not bicker with each other for them again.
When Tommy tried to pluck another flower again, he saw something – or someone – familiar in the distance.
A brunet he knew.
Tubbo.
Tommy would have approached Tubbo.
He really wanted to.
But Tubbo seemed to be just as happy without him now.
Tommy knew that.
And he found it more reasonable not to enter someone's life after leaving it years ago.
He is happy, Tubbo is too.
Then he could just draw the line there to their happily-ever-afters.
"Tommy?"
Oh, right. Tommy was still with his family.
"Sorry, I got distracted there."

And when Tommy actually walked past Tubbo, they acted as if neither recognised each other.
Like they were strangers.
Maybe that was what time could do to bonds.
