I wake up, my eyes still glued shut, but at least I'm alive. That's always a plus. I hear voices, but whose? They don't sound any sort of familiar to me.

"What are we going to do with her?"

"Well maybe we should pour water on her face?"

"Now why would we do that?"

"I dunno. It was just a suggestion."

"Well it was a stupid suggestion!"

"GUYS CALM DOWN!!!"

I slowly open my eyes and see what I assume to be three older teenage guys, maybe in their twenties. I technically have no right to assume anything right now though, considering I can barely see. Groaning, I try to sit up, only to collapse back onto the ground beneath me.

"HEY YOU'RE AWAKE!!!" One of the guys literally screams in excitement.

"WE THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" He yells again, after not receiving a response from me.

One of them, with long brown hair draping over one eye was just minding his own business and keeping quiet.

"Relax Adam." The third murmured.

"W-who are you?" I stammered, finally managing to get myself to say something.

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Mitch!" Said one wearing a black and red checkered sweater. Short brown hair, somewhat spiked framed his face.

"I'm Adam!" Said the overly loud one. Black sunglasses rested on top of his curly dark brown hair. Around his neck was a seemingly gold-and-amethyst amulet.

"Jeez." I think to myself. "Wouldn't want to lose that."

"And I'm Ty," The final one says quietly. Nearly half of his face is hidden behind his somewhat long brown hair.

Of course at this point, I have absolutely NO idea of what's going on. Suddenly, I realize that I have no idea how I got here. Fear strikes straight into my heart like a frozen cold spear, and I desperately try to recall something, anything about my past.

Nothing pops into my mind. I can't remember anything. I start to panic, wondering why my head is so foggy. My head starts to throb and a feeling of dizziness suddenly overwhelms me, causing me to unwillingly fall backwards yet again. The back of my head lands on the grass, and a spike of agony runs through my body.

And just like a train crashed into me at full speed, I suddenly remember... something. Inaudible screams surround me from all angles, growing drastically quieter by the second, and then I feel myself slip out of consciousness.

I come back to my senses, realizing that I forgot to breathe in the short memory relapse that had just occurred. I gasp for air, and take in many deep breaths before I'm able to steady myself.

"Dude, are you alright? You're really not looking too great," Mitch questions, looking concerned.

I look at my hands to see that they're clammy and pale, it takes me a second to realize that my light blue sweater is half drenched in cold sweat. I must look half dead right about now.

"Honestly, I'm not so sure," I respond, slowly sitting up once more.

"Take it easy man, dying really isn't too good for your health. What's your name anyways?" Mitch says, extending his hand.

A single word rushes into my head, another memory at that. I can safely assume that it's probably my name. I mean, it sounds like a name, so I'll just roll with it.
