The Halloween Party

*The October breeze touched your skin as you stepped out of your house. You saw Eddie sitting there waiting for you and your brother. Finally Dustin walked out of the house and

you locked the door with your key. You opened the door to get in the passenger seat and Dustin got in the back. Detroit Rock City by Kiss was playing*

Eddie-Jesus, took ya long enough.
Dustin-It's Y/n's fault she took forever doing her hair.
You-I'm sorry I don't have perfect hair when I wake up.

*Eddie hit the gas petal and his tires squealed as he drove off from your house. You and Eddie have been friends for a few years so him taking you and Dustin to school is not unusual. About 5 minutes later Eddie pulled into the school parking lot. You grabbed your bag and got out. Dustin went to find Mike and you walked inside with Eddie. You went to your locker and Eddie followed. He leaned against the locker next to yours and talked about the campaign tomorrow night. Laura walked up to your locker and handed you a paper. You grabbed it and looked at it*

Laura-Halloween party at my house if you could bring any kind of alcohol that would be great.

*She smiled at you then gave Eddie a dirty look and walked away.*
Eddie-Your friends are so so very sweet
*he says in a sarcastic tone*
Eddie-Everyone come to my Halloween party so we can get wasted and listen to Cyndi Lauper together!

*He says with a girly voice*
You-Oh come on we are so going it'll be fun.
Eddie-If there's gonna be people like her there then fuck no.
You-Everyone goes to parties wether they are invited or not. Jocks, preppy girls, nerds.....freaks like us.
Eddie-Oh cmon Y/n your friends with people like Laura.
You-Only because we play soccer together

*you shut your locker*
You-I get that they are assholes to our friends but I promise you I always stand up for you guys when they say shit
*Eddie laughs thinking that your lying*
You-What? You think I'm lying?
Eddie-Wouldn't that make them hate you?
You-Can we please just stop talking about this?
Eddie-I'm just saying-
*He gets cut off by the first bell*
Eddie-We should just skip.
You-And do what?
*Before Eddie can respond Robin comes up to you guys*

Robin-Sorry to steal your girlfriend, Eddie, but I have to talk to her.
*She grabs your hand and drags you to the bathroom*
You-Robin, I really need to get to Mr.Heinbeck's class-
Robin-She asked me to go to the party with her!
You-Who? Vickie?!
Robin-Yeah!
You-Oh my god, Robin! That's great!
Robin-I know!
*Her smile fades as she comes across a thought*

Robin-What am I gonna wear? Oh my good I can't go!
You-Yes you can! Let's go to the mall after school. We can find something I'm sure.
Robin-Thanks y/n! Your a life saver.
You-I got to get to class I'll see you later
*You grab your books and walk to your class. Meanwhile Eddie is in study hall with Dustin*
Eddie-She wants me to go with her to this party tonight.
Dustin-That's great! This is your chance.
Eddie-Chance for what?
Dustin-For you to finally get with my sister! Duh!
Eddie-How do I do that?
Dustin-It's simple. Go to the party, I'll convince whoever's playing the music to play a slow song, you ask her to dance, you kiss, then boom you live happily ever after.
Eddie-This better work Henderson.

*A few classes pass and it's time for lunch. Your the first one at the table and you sit down. A few seconds that you feel two hands on your shoulders*
Eddie-I'll go
You-Where?
Eddie-To the party
*All the others come by and sit down. Gareth overheard Eddie say party*

Gareth-Tell me you guys aren't going to that stupid Halloween party tonight.
Mike-You aren't?
Gareth-Fuck no.
Jeff-I bet your gonna go trick or treating tonight.

Gareth-My parents want me to go with my sister! I'm not going because I want to!
