Heeseung spent the next days trying to understand Jake's intentions.
The next morning, Jake had woken up early and had went downstairs to cook breakfast.
If it was just that, it wouldn't have been worrying.
But then, he started asking Heeseung what kind of food he liked. If he liked to cook. What he was good at, and what he was doing on his spare time.
This was starting to be suspicious.
He also invited Heeseung to go shopping, out of the blue, and spent every minute of their weekend stuck to him.
Heeseung, utterly disgusted, was too afraid to ask what this was all about. Jake's seriousness on their Friday night was still imprinted in his mind, and God forbid, he would not experience it again.
And finally, the end of the weekend arrived. School, as well as peace, would be back.
But when on Monday morning, Jake decided to carry Heeseung's bag, the latter went crazy:
"Ok, that's enough! What are you playing at!? Are you trying to mock me!?"
"Did you not understand me when I said I was gonna take this situation seriously?"
In fact, Heeseung did not understand.
"Are you saying you're acting like my husband right now?"
"That's exactly what I'm doing."
"And what am I?! Your wife!?"
"Of course not! You're also my husband."
"Then why are you carrying my bag like I'm a girl?!"
"To be courteous. Nothing to do with your gender."
"This is ridiculous! I'm not letting you do that!" Violently yanking his bag off Jake's side.
"Then, would you prefer to be the one to carry my bag?" asked Jake, dead serious.
And just like that, Heeseung ended up walking to school with both their bags on his shoulder, and for some reason, Jake's hand in his.
