In Gupta Mansion.

On one end, where Arnav's past was harassing him, Khushi was also being affected by several emotions. She seemed happy and sad all at the same time but still very troubled.

" Within a second, how did Mr. Roy turn out to be Mr. Raizada, Khushi?" A baffled Payal questions Khushi.

" I literally have no idea yaar...Mr. Roy himself notified me an hour back that he will be here...God knows what's happening."

" Do you think he tricked you?...Or is there any chance of Aman's hand behind all this'' Payal put out all prospects standing ahead, crossing her arms.

" He won't do this," Khushi states matter-of-factly.

"And in what context are you saying?"

" You know...don't you." She replied with a stony expression.

" Ok, Jo hua so hua...I feel this is the opportunity. You should go and talk to Arnav...It's a golden chance, and you won't get a second chance to clear out the misunderstanding...so make this one count."

Khushi smiled painfully. Doesn't she also wish the same but only she knows how tough it's to be true.

" It was never a misunderstanding, Payal, and you know that...it was all my fault...I'm the one who is blameworthy here. I didn't trust him and hurt him...I left without even confronting...He would never forgive me no matter how much I plead."

For Payal, Khushi sounds like the dumbest person exists at that point. Or maybe she could blame it on her emotional brain.
Being her loyal friend, Payal perfectly knows how to brainwash her.

" But you haven't deliberately done anything wrong...don't forget what made you leave him, so stop blaming yourself and sort it out asap."

Khushi let out a painful moan; she hates it whenever Payal is right.

"Do you think I haven't tried...he doesn't even want to meet my eyes...even if I say sorry, it's not acceptable against what I did with him."

" Then do one thing tell him the truth."

" Impossible!"

" But Why?"

" Because I have already hurt him enough, and I don't want to harm him anymore. I know how painful it would be for him, and If I hurt him again, then his black image will keep burning into my head for the rest of my life, and I can't afford to see him suffer like that...I'm sorry, but I can't."

Letting out a painful chuckle, Khushi expresses the primary fact.

" And on top of that, I don't think he'll ever gonna believe me or my words, and yesterday's happenstance is proof for that, so drop this idea."

Payal, who always prefers to be on the rational side, stares at her with sympathy, almost pitying her.
Her best friend always screwed up, and she hated it the most because Khushi knew it. She didn't need a reminder from anyone else that her life had turned into a mess. A gigantic ball of mess.

" You aren't ready to tell him; he isn't ready to listen to you. Wow, What should I name this love?" Payal said with a hint of mockery.

"Ok, tell me one thing. Do you still love him?"

" Payal please, I'm not in the mood to answer such a stupid question."

" Tell na?"

" What you're asking...Yes! I love him and I'll always do."

" Then just go and tell him."

" You think it's easy."

" No but look when you love someone, then it's worth fighting for, no matter what the odds. If you two are meant to be together, you both will definitely find your way back."
