Eva's POV
I walked in the silent street of Arcane County, still following the black smoke that was leading me to whoever was controlling the demons from the Hell Gates
I was led to the head of the humans Mansion and I stood in front of the gate surprised
It can't be him can it?
Even though he does brag about being all powerful, he is still just a human, all he knows is guns, he knows nothing about magic and it will require great magical power to even try to control the demons, especially the potentes
I tried walking in but the gate was locked
I muttered a spell and the gate flew open and I walked in
"Who are you?" two huge men asked coming towards me with guns
"I need to see Adrian Hunter" I said
"He is not available right now so I advice you to leave" they said
"And I advice you not to cross me cause I know Adrian Hunter is in there and I am going to see him today, only thing is if I'll be seeing him with you two alive or with you two dead" I said
"Did you just threaten to kill us? Do you have a death wish?" one of them said pointing his gun at me and the man whispered into his ear
"Oh you are the cocky head of the witches, well you look a little better than I imagined, come with me and maybe we can work something out, in bed" the man winked
"Okay that does it!" I said as I waved my hand and his neck twisted and he fell to the ground, lifeless
"What.....what did you do?!" the other man said
"Want me to do it to you next?" I asked and he quickly ran inside and I followed him in
I tried walking through the door but I couldn't, a boundary spell had been casted round the building
But I could see Adrian Hunter from where I stood
He was standing beside what seemed to be like a coven of witches and is that..... Gia Hammington! Gia Hammington was seated in their midst, they seemed to be channeling her to perform the spells
"What the bloody hell is going on here Adrian?" I asked
"I should be asking you that, this is trespassing you know, and did you kill one of my security guards?!" Adrian asked
"Well he was rude and what the hell Adrian? Do you have your own personal coven of witches now?!" I asked
"It's exactly as you see it Eva Jones, we lived in a peaceful city before, the humans didn't even know witches existed and then things started happening as you couldn't control your witches to stay in line, thats when I decided to take control of the City as you couldn't run it well!! When the demons were released your identities were exposed to the world and fellow humans like me lived in fear of your mistakes!! So I found some pretty powerful witches that were willing to work for me for a certain amount money and with Gia Hammington working for me and letting them channel her, I have become really powerful" Adrian said and Gia Hammington stood up and came to stand beside Adrian
"Eva Jones, I've been meaning to come after you in revenge against Eric as he's been getting on my nerves but I've been too busy to do that and today? You brought yourself to me, I guess you are really destined to die by my hands as I can't let you live now even if I want to cause you've seen me here and I still plan on keeping my alliance with Adrian Hunter a secret for a little longer" Gia said
"Alliance? You call this an alliance? He's bloody using you Gia!!" I yelled and then looked at Adrian
"You bought my witches off with your money? Wait till I get my hands on your throat Adrian!" I said as I tried to break through the boundary but I couldn't
"Did you not hear him Eva Jones? No matter how powerful you are, you can't overpower a coven of witches that's channelling me and even if you do, what chances do you stand alone against us all?" Gia asked and Ivan suddenly walked in and stood beside me
"I think her chances of winning is pretty good as she's not alone sister" Ivan said and I looked at him surprised
Whoever thought Ivan Hammington and I will ever be on the same side
"Brother...." Gia said looking shocked
"I will try to be calm and not be too quick to judge, what the bloody hell are you doing in there Gia?" Ivan asked trying to sound calm but failing woefully, he was obviously very angry
"Brother.....I just..... it's.....I..... I didn't betray you" Gia stuttered
"You didn't betray me? You told me you had no business with Adrian Hunter, you fucking lied to me!!" Ivan yelled
"Okay enough of the loud word exchange...." Adrian was saying but Ivan cut in
"You shut your damn mouth else I'll rip this boundary apart and rip out your heart along with it!!" Ivan yelled
Dianna's POV
I drove to Adrian's Mansion and I could hear Ivan's angry voice from within the house and I silently walked in
Ivan was standing outside the door with Eva and he seemed really angry at Gia who was standing inside the house with Adrian Hunter
"Did you send those demons after Dianna and her baby?" Ivan asked
"Yes, but only to delay her so you'll be able to catch up with her" Gia said
"I never asked you to do that!!!" Ivan yelled
"Were you not thinking straight? How could you send several potentes after her?! What if something had happened to her little girl?!" Ivan asked
"I didn't think that was important, you were going to kill her anyway" Gia said
"I was never going to kill Dianna's baby, I was never going to kill that little girl, how could I when she had no part in Dianna killing Sophie? That baby is too innocent to be caught in the crossfire of our fights!" Ivan said and Gia looked at me
"I bet you are glad to hear that" Gia said to me and and Ivan and Eva turned to see at me standing behind them
"Anyone will be glad to hear that Gia but I have to admit that I am surprised by your attitude, if I expected anyone to be unfeeling it's Ivan, not you" I said
"Why are you here Dianna? And where's Eric?" Eva asked
"He's safe, he's with my baby" I said to Eva
"I guess we can't work in secret anymore Gia" Adrian said "Our alliance is public now, you see Gia and I are in love so we decided to make an alliance, we will eliminate all the powerful figures in Arcane City and become the King and Queen of this city and to accomplish that, we needed her the pretend to be working by your side so we can get the golden dagger, you know, the immortal killing weapon" Adrian said
"What is he talking about Gia, I have the golden dagger" Ivan said
"There's.... there's more than one golden dagger" Gia said as she brought out another golden dagger.......
