Its the beginning of the semester at Casper University and Jo'Zari was now approaching the campus. With help from the driver she headed inside of what looked like and ancient mansion. She took in everything as she passed couples and groups of all sorts. Everything seemed normal but she couldn't shake the eerie feeling she had.
"You must be Jo'Zari!" A voice shrieked from behind her as she stood lost.
"Umm yea." She responded with a confused look.
"Welcome to CapU! We are beyond honored to have you join us." She smiled handing her a map and a bag of candies. "My name is Andrea I'm gonna be your tour guide today." She smiled.
"Okay great. I don't even know where to find my dorm." She scoffed seeing that this school was bigger than anywhere she had ever been.
"I got you girl. Can I call you Jo?" She asked as she began walking.
"Most people call me Zari but...I guess." Jo'Zari shrugged.
"I don't like to be like most people she smiled as she stopped to flip through her clipboard.
"Boring." She rolled her eyes. "I have to give you the standard tour. Which means you have to have a meeting with our House Director afterward."
"Hopefully he can clear some things up." Zari rolled her eyes still wondering what was up around here.
"She." Andrea corrected. "Her name is Dr. Brinx and she'll tell you everything there is to know about this school." She said emphasizing everything. "But for now follow me. I'll show your dorm and give you the basics on the way." She said with a finger as she swished around for Zari to follow her. Zari observed Andrea seeing that she must be the bougie and popular type of girl. She was bright skinned with long silky hair giving Zari the thought that she was Hispanic in some way. She seemed very confident and she's the school tour guide.
She must be that type, ugh. Zari thought to herself.
As they headed toward the dorm Zari couldn't help but look around and feel like she was at the Hogwarts school from Harry Potter, while Andrea went on about the school and explaining some places they passed.
"Here you are! Your roommate is probably out for lunch or something. Most classes aren't in right now, they're letting the new people get settled. Like you!" She smiled with a tight shrug.
"Do you know who my roommate is?" Jo'Zari asked looking at what must have been her roommates side filled with what looked like gothic posters and decoration.
"Umm from the looks of it, it's Luna. Heads up she kind of a bitch."
Like you?
"Thanks." Zari chuckled. "So this whole side is mine?" She asked impresses with the space they had.
"Yup. You both have your own closest and a split bathroom. So get settled girl." She smiled. "And when you're done head straight up those stairs and make a right and you'll see Dr.Brinx's office. She's waiting for you."
"Okay thanks." She nodded and began unpacking.
"No problem. May I ask your ethnicity I hear the accent." Andrea asked.
"My family of from Azania, Africa on my mom's side and my dad is Indian."
"Hmm nice." She nodded with a hum that Zari didn't understand. "I love the accent though. Chow babes." She beamed and basically skipped out of the dorm room before anything else could be said.
"She is fucking weird." Jo'Zari said to herself as she got situated in the room.

Jo'Zari"Hey. My name is Jo'Zari Knox." I said as I knocked on the door that was cracked open.
"Come in dear! Hello!"Dr.Brinx said as she looked up from her paper work and pulled her glasses down.
"Hi."
"I know you must be a bit frustrated with you dad but I promise you will love it here. He filled me in on your whole situation and I'm gonna clear it up for you but I just need to know that you are gonna believe me. If you won't I'll give you proof but don't be freaked out. I promise no one here will hurt you."
"You- what? Prove what what do you mean?"
"I'm sure your father has as least told you that you come from powerful people."
"My father hasn't told me anything!" I shouted growing angry because I know nothing.
"Don't grow angry please. I'm about to explain. Just take a breath and listening." She said with a calm hand.
"From my research and studies of your family you are a witch. And possibly more. This school is filled with supernaturals. Me myself-"
"Stop the bull shit lady." I said with folded arms, cutting her off. "What's really going on. Is my dad trying make me take some sort of deal or something."
"Like I was saying.." she sighed and rolled her eyes. "Me myself I am a a fairy." She then waved her hands in the air and golden butterflies flew inches from my face.
"What was that?" I mumbled in complete shock.
"Don't panic baby." She said softly and blew dust in my face making me suddenly feel calm.
"I don't understand. Why would they lie to me? " I asked.
"I'm not sure but my dust isn't completely working on you seeing that you still feel that hurt. You are changing." She smiled.
"This isn't fair. No one tried to warn me or prepare me for this?" I said growing angrier by the second, feeling something that I never felt. I've also never been this angry before.
"Please dear."
I began to cry as wind woodshed around the room and books flew from the shelves. The entire ground shook as all of Dr.Brinx's furniture was misplaced. I had no clue what was going on but I felt like I was doing it. But I can't understand how. Why now ?
""Just breathe Jo'Zari!" Dr.Brinx shouted. "That's the only way it'll subside you have to calm yourself and control it."
I tried breathing and thinking of how this could be good but the anger towards my parents was to much. I ran out out of the room to my dorm hearing the wind follow me as paintings flew from the walls. This was all to much for me.
I slammed the door and ran into my bathroom locking that door. All of my thing I had just put away were now on the floor or in the air.
I tired breathing again and praying to God and my mother to help me with what ever was to come.
Everything fell to the floor and the wind stopped, the ringing in my ears subsided and I could only cry as I took it all in.
This is definitely something I never saw coming ...
