Chapter 1 Recap

~Raven's POV~

"Oh dear God, I better make this quick. I don't have much time." I thought to myself as I felt the plane landing. This is it, this is where I die.

My name is Raven Swan, and this is my story. Granted, it's not a very happy story, because it's filled with danger and supernatural. I'll try to keep it simple before my kidnappers come back. You see, my mom Renee got tired of Forks because it was 'dreary', so she just left.

She took my sister Isabella with her, which made Dad pretty upset. With time, they both came together to let Dad keep me and Isabella stays with Mom. During the summer I'd try to bond with my sister, but overtime we grew apart. And I didn't blame her, we had different interests.

But when Dad said she was coming to stay with us until she graduates, I was beyond excited. Turns our she's... really boring now. What the heck happened the 'fun Bella'? I'm glad she made friends and all, but I really want to know why she's been obsessed with the Cullens?

She kept telling me that 'Edward' was so rude to her on her first day, but when I see them and talk to them, they are very polite and sweet. All except Alice. For some reason that 'hyperactive pixie' would glare at me whenever my back was turned. Maybe someone told her a lie and said that I said it. I tried to talk to her, but she just ignores me and walks away.

The day Bella came home and told us that she and Edward were going on a date, I wish I had my camera for Dad's expression. On the inside he was definitely having a spasm, but he played it gentlemanly for her. They were going to play baseball.

Uh, news flash, Eddie boy, Bella is terrible at sports, so why take her along just so she can sit on the sidelines and watch? Now that is rude. I went out to take more photos of nature for my drawing, but when I came home, Bella was yelling at Dad that she was sick of being here and she broke up with Edward. We tried to stop her, but she said the words Mom said when she left Dad, then called me an attention seeker who should stay out of everyone's business.

That's not true! You were the one who was obsessed with the Cullen's that you literally stalked them. But when I tried to reason with her, she broke me when she said we weren't sisters anymore.

I cheered Dad up, thankfully. I had Uncle Billy and Jacob come over to stay with us. Jacob calmed me down and watched movies with me. But when Dad got a call from Renee saying Bella got hurt, we rushed to Phoenix to see her.

A boot on her ankle. Now that is funny. Walking like a penguin, I joked. She did laugh. After apologizing to Dad, she wanted to apologize to me. But I was still hurt by her words that I just stayed in the cafeteria.

Dr. and Ms. Cullen stayed with me as they wanted to ask me questions. How I felt with all of this. To be honest. Bella was right. We really weren't sister's anymore. We grew apart and that is our own faults. I gave Dad a message to give to Bella, 'I need some time'.

Guess what folks, I felt better and was waiting to talk to her....... but then she ignores me again. Once we were back in Forks she started hanging out with the Cullens. Edward took her to prom, which I thought was lame. But thanks to my genius GPA and skipping a grade, I managed to graduate early.

While she went to Prom, Jacob came over and hung out with me!

For the next 3 months, I've been searching for colleges to attend. I wanted something fresh, something new. Apparently colleges were willing to 'buy' me to go to their school. That's awesome, and with Grandma's inheritance, I decided to look into it more.

Oh, forgot to mention. When Grandma and Grandpa passed, they signed their will that I am their sole heir to their fortune and estate. I was a little sad that I couldn't share any of the money with Dad, but I didn't want to upset my grandma, so I'm gonna play by the rules on this one I guess. Get this, I couldn't even tell Renee or Bella about the money. Weird, but okay.
