I woke up from a deep sleep to the sound of knocking at my front door. Jet lag was real and after eating my ramen, I came and knocked out cold. I blindly looked around as the knocking continued, drool wet on the side of my face. Struggling to get up, fixing my clothes, I rushed to the door. I opened the door to find a young lady holding a package. She had short black hair and looked like a little pixie. She bowed.
"Hello, my name is Kim Seong-Ji and I am your personal messenger for your unit and I tried calling your room but after receiving no reply, I decided to deliver it in person. This came for you."
She handed me the package and I nodded, smiling. "Thank you."
I waited for her to say more but she just stood there, staring.
"Well, if that is all...?" I started to slowly close the door and she poked her head in to stop me.
"Wait. Um..."
I waited, raising my eyebrows.
"I was speaking with Dae-Hyun and he told me you were going to be working at the filming studio for the new drama starring Joon-woo oppa."
She clutched her hands to her chest, staring into space dreamily. I smiled and rubbed my neck awkwardly. I was just as excited as her to meet (In my mind, I clutched my hands to my chest, staring into space dreamily) Joon-woo; but too many people were starting to know what I was doing around here. These hotel employees must gossip a lot. I couldn't be mad at that angel face Dae-hyun for telling her though.
"Yes, I am."
She grabbed my hands unexpectedly. I jumped, startled.
"I know we don't know each other but could you please get an autograph for me?"
The girl could be no more than twenty. Her round eyes pleaded with me. I can sympathize with her completely. If I were in her position, I would be doing the same thing but then I thought of actually approaching Joon-woo and boldly asking his hotness to give me an autograph for an employee staying at my hotel? Yeah...no.....not gonna work.
"I don't think that..."
She started crying. I looked at her large eyes well up with dramatic fat tears and roll fiercely down her cheeks. I have no idea what to do.
"Please, please, please. This is my lifelong dream! I even got a job at this building hoping he would be living here. That's what all of my research told me but he doesn't live here! I beg of you."
She pulled at my hands. I couldn't take this anymore.
"Okay, okay. I will see what I can do."
Her tears stopped immediately and a huge smiled crossed her face.
"Oh, thank you! You are really the best!"
I nodded and tried to pull my hands from hers. She realized she was gripping my hands tightly and quickly let go.
I rubbed them from her surprisingly strong grip and looked around awkwardly.
"Well then, I work every Wednesday and Friday, sometimes Saturdays. I will look for you. Bye!"
I watched her skip down the hallway. Oh no, what I have done?! I closed the door and slid down it, anxiety gripping me at the thought of approaching Joon-woo. I knew this girl was not going to stop bothering me if I didn't do this for her.
I have only been here a day and I am already in so much trouble.
I crawled my way back into my overly large bed and pulled the covers over my head, blocking out everything, I was going to sleep the rest of the day.
