Before they knew it, it was time for Izuku to leave and head back to the surface. It was a sad day for the kingdom, its occupants in mourning for losing their Queen, even if it was only for six months. Izuku had rolled his eyes at how they all acted like he was dead or something but was touched by it nonetheless. He was being forced to leave his home but on the bright side, Zeus would be foolish to try and prevent him from wandering around as a mortal. Especially since he knew their Mother Gaia would always aid Izuku no matter what and not even the king of the gods could stand up against her might and magic.

He gathered his clothes and weapons, double-checking to make sure he had everything before calling forth his tigers to join him. He would not leave them behind. He walked out of their bedroom, looking back at it one last time before sighing and leaving. At least his husband gave him a wonderful night to remember before he left.

He walked down the halls to outside, where his husband waited with the chariot that would bring them to the surface.

All the servants and souls that were in the gardens had gathered to see him off, some crying, not wanting him to leave. Cerberus had their heads in their paws, whimpering in sadness. Izuku smiled at the guard dog and scratched all three heads before heading over to his lover and husband.

Aizawa gave him a sad smile, "How I wish you could stay down here my love. This place will not be the same without you."

Izuku giggled, "Oh so dramatic love. Don't worry. I will be sure to send you down the souls of the condemned and the scum while I am away."

Aizawa chuckled, "And I look forward to receiving such gifts from you my dear."

They share one last kiss before Izuku boards the chariot, his tigers shrinking in size so they can fit. Before Izuku orders the horses to go forth, he turns and wishes his people farewell.

"Goodbye for now everyone! Do not mourn, please! In six months I shall return to be among you once more! Please behave for Aizawa while I am gone! Farewell!"

He snaps the reins and soon they are off, the cries of sorrow from his people echoing, shouting farewell and to be safe. A single tear escapes Izuku's eyes before they take off, rising to the surface, leaving the kingdom of the dead behind.

Upon reaching the mortal realm once more, a hole opens up and there is Inko, waiting for her son to appear. She frowns when she sees the clothing he is wearing but otherwise says nothing. She shrieks when his tigers return to their normal size, making Izuku smirk a bit.

"Oh do calm down mother. They are harmless unless I order them to attack."

Inko tries to calm her heart down as she speaks, "I am so happy to see you again Izuku. Now come. Let's go home. We should get you a change of clothes. You can wear those when you return to your...... home."

Izuku rolls his eyes as he orders the horses to return to his husband, making sure to seal up the entrance to his kingdom.

"Very well. However, mother, I want you to end this wretched winter now. The mortals have suffered enough."

She nodded and soon the snow was melting, life returning to the land. Izuku sneered to himself. His mother's magic was weak. How dare she let the mortals suffer because of her foolishness and selfishness. He said none of this out loud though and followed her back to Mount Olympus, his tigers at his heels.

Once there, he made sure to avoid anyone and everyone but Hizashi and Nemuri, welcoming their company with open arms.

He nearly ended up killing Katsuki because the other male was so persistent and had pissed him off. Thankfully for the war godling, Nemuri just happened to be walking by and was able to sooth the Hell Queen's wrath.

Other than that, he made sure to have the bare minimum contact with everyone else, including his own mother, who was still under the impression that he had been brainwashed or something.
