It was during the end of the summer that it finally happened. Demeter finally got it out of Katsuki where her son was and she was furious. She had gone right to Zeus and demanded that her brother help get her son back from who she considered a monster. Until she got her son back, she refused to let anything grow, throwing the lands into a harsh winter. Nemuri had been present and had been quick to send Hermes down to warn Aizawa and Izuku what was happening. She would not allow this selfish bitch to ruin her friend's happiness with her selfishness and desire to keep her son always in her sight and under her control.

Aizawa had not been pleased when the news had been delivered and neither had Izuku. Aizawa proceeded to beg and plead to Izuku to go hide, to leave him to deal with his brother. Izuku had snarled and refused, stating that he was his wife, his queen and that he would not run any longer. They would stand together. Aizawa eventually gave up but offered Izuku a way to ensure that he would have to remain with him. He presented Izuku with six pomegranate seeds. Each seed represented six months that he would have to stay in the Underworld and the others he would be with his mother. It was not the most ideal situation but it was better than allowing the innocent lives and souls of mortals to suffer his mother's rage. Izuku consumed the seeds without hesitation. He would not be separated from his husband.

When Zeus, Ares, and Demeter arrived in the underworld, a servant who guided them to the throne room, where the king and queen awaited them, greeted them. Katsuki had also come along in hopes of apologizing to Izuku. What they saw when they entered the throne room was the one thing they did not expect.

Aizawa sat tall and proud on his throne, his silver crown with obsidian stones embedded in it sat upon his brow. His loyal panthers sat surrounding his throne, alert for any threats against their master. Sitting beside him though on a throne designed for a queen...... was the very person they had come to collect.

Izuku stared down at them with disdain, no joy or anything positive in his eyes at seeing them. His loyal tigers sat surrounding his throne, Snow Lily resting her head on his lap as he scratched behind her ears. His crown sat upon his brows, which were furrowed in what could have been anger.

When he spoke, his voice was cold as ice, sending shivers through all of their spines, "Welcome to our home Gods. State your business. My husband and I do have a kingdom to run and souls to judge. Our time is not free so make this quick."

Inko had flinched at his tone before finally gaining the will to speak, "Izuku! Please can't you see you have been brainwashed by this monster!! Come home please darling!! Zeus here will protect you from Hades and you can marry Katsuki like we planned!"

Her words had the exact opposite effect.

The tigers all shot up and let out their roars as they felt their master's rage.

Izuku stood up, his magic curling around him, "How dare you mother. How dare you speak of my husband and king in such a way! The only monster I see is you!! You, who would dare strip me of my freedom, try to restrain me and keep me in a gilded cage!! You would force me to abandon all I love so I could become your puppet!! Well it is too late mother!! Mother Gaia has blessed our union and bound our magic and souls together until the end of time!! So even if one of us dies, we will be reunited one day!! How dare you suggest that Shouta would brainwash me!! He saved me from a horrible fate!! He showed me true love, that I don't have to give up who I am to find happiness!! It was I who proposed to him, not the other way around!! To dare insinuate that our love is fake is an insult I will not stand for!! Watch your tongue mother for if you disrespect my husband one more time I will remove it!!"
