-Leia-

As I rushed toward the orphanage, my mind was still blurred with confusion. I just didn't understand what Liam Payne from One Direction wanted to talk to me about. Did he want to ask me out? Did he want something from me? Whatever it was, I just wished he'd tell me soon. It was killing me. I needed to kow what a famous pop-star like Liam wanted with me. I mean, I was a flacking orphan, I wasn't even that pretty. Oh yeah, did I mention I was an ORPHAN.

There were millions of girls in the world that threw themselves at Liam's feet. There had to be a good reason why he came to me.

As I approached the orphanage, I gasped, seing smoke rising from the top of the building. My heart began to race, as I ran lightning speed towards the orphange. As I busted open the door, I felt my skin slightly heat up. Smoke surrounded me as I knelt down and coughed. The orphanage was on fire.

My first thought was Katie. She was in here. I ran to mine and Katie's room, and tried to avoid the smoke. It was no use, the toxic air, filled my body making me cough hystarically. That didn't stop me though, I had to find Katie. As I ran, I saw fire erupt in front of me, the flames coming from the room beside me. Laying in the room were 3 children on the floor. I gasped, but kept running, my best friend being priority. I'd come back for them later.

As I reached my room, I busted open the door. Flames surrounded me as I saw Katie laying on the ground coughing violently. I ran over to her and scooped her around my shoulder trying not to hurt her. I ran as fast as I could, trying not to pass out from the smoke filling my nostrils.

I ran to other rooms to grab more people. But........it was too late. Flames filled the hallways. I jumped over, desks and chairs and caught site of the exit. With a free hand I thrusted Katie outside, and took a deep breath.

This was it.

I jumped with all my strength, with every bone in my body, with all the energy in my soul.

I landed kneesfirst onto the ground, dirt rising as I fell. I picked up Katie and ran away from the burning building. From looking around I realized,

no one had survived.

I took a deep breath, as tears began to trickle down my face. There were so many innocent children in there. Children that had full lives to live. Children that didn't deserve to die.

And if I didn't make it in time Katie would have been one of the children. I tried to hold the tears back, I attempted not the burst onto the ground sobbing. The people in the orphanage were my family. The people I grew up with.

And now, they were gone.

My family was gone.

I crouched beside Katie, and opened her mouth. I breathed some hair into her dry throat, causing her start coughing. She opened her eyes halfway, and moved her lips, "L....Leia".

"Shhh" I said, in the soothing voice, trying to treat a bruise on her elbow, "you're going to be okay".

"There was a f....fire" she murmured, then coughed suddenly.

"Yeah" I said, "I know......".

"Where are the rest of the people?......What happened to all the kids?".She said, her eyes now fully openening. She touched her head, "what happened?".

I looked away, tears, starting again in my green orbs, "they're......gone" I choked, trying not to think of all the lives lost.

"Gone as in?"

Katie was now fully awake. Her eyes looked a little dreary, and her arms were covered in scratches but otherwise she was mostly fine. Thank goodness for that.

"Dead" I said, slowly, "they're all dead".

Katie's hazel eyes widened, as she stared at me in bewilerment, "did you save me Leia?".

I nodded, "otherwise......".

I didn't know what came over us, but we both grabbed eachother and sobbed. I held onto my best friend, my salty tears hitting her shoulder.

There was just one question that hit my mind, right away.

Where were we going to go?
