Summary: Draco always messed up everything good in his life. His biggest regret is breaking the special connection he shared with Y/n.

You weren't unaware of the things people said and did with Draco Malfoy.

You knew his reputation with fucking every girl at Hogwarts, and then leaving them, which is why you were hesitant to become friends with him.

But being the naive and sweet girl you were, you accepted him with your heart on your sleeve.

You fell in love more and more every day with him. Every time he smiled, you blushed and your heart would flutter. Every time he would tease and touch you, you would become flustered.

He loved seeing you get worked up because of him.

A few months went past with you guys getting closer and then eventually dating. You guys were "in love" as he would say. He reminded you every day how pretty you were or how much he loved you.

You believed him—of course, you did when he said it with his soft eyes towards you.

That all went downhill when a girl walked up to you, telling you how happy she was that you allowed Draco to fuck other people even though he was in a relationship.

"W-what?" you had stuttered out, staring at the Hufflepuff girl in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"Draco! We had sex last night and when I asked if you knew, he said yes and that you allowed it!" She beamed, tilting her head.

You nodded, swallowing harshly, and blinked away the tears, "Yeah."

She waved goodbye and you stood there frozen in the hallway, rubbing your eyes as tears filled them.

"She told me you slept with her!" you screamed at him, holding back the tears as you glared.

He scoffed, "So? I'm not sorry about it."

Your eyes widened as you stared at him, "You're not sorry about it? I'm your fucking girlfriend, Draco! You can't sleep with other people when you're with me."

"Okay, I got tired of being with you all the time. You're draining to be around," he mumbled. He knew the words weren't true and he knew how much it hurt but he never took it back.

"We're fucking over," you whispered, eyes hard as you stared at him.

His own eyes widened at the use of your language, knowing you were always telling him to avoid using it.

"You need me," he stated, a smug look overtaking his features.

You smiled a wicked smile, "Why? Because I'm a woman?"

He nodded.

"You're pathetic!"

You walked away, slamming his dorm room door shut, leaving him with a shocked expression.

Days passed of you did not leave your room for anything but class. You busied yourself with school work, ignoring your friends who encouraged you to eat but you refused, the idea of food makes you want to throw up.

It didn't help that the girls who walked past you in the hallways spoke about how good Draco was in bed last night.

Your heart clenched every time someone mentioned him, all the amazing memories of you guys coming back to you.

You had your days where you cried yourself to sleep at the thought of what he did to you, but you knew he wasn't worth your tears.

You were a person who forgave easily but what he did was something you would never forgive.

"Stop!" You squealed, giggling as Theo tickled you, "I'm sorry, Theo!"

He smiled with a glint in his eyes, "Really, sweetheart? Then tell me I'm the best person."

You shook your head, pushing yourself away from Theo with bright red cheeks, a shy smile on your face as you stared at a grinning Theo.

It's been a month since Draco cheated on you and you had a hard time adjusting without him helping you. You made new friends as your only ones were friends of Draco. You became closer to Theo, who shared a mutual liking towards you.

"Fine!" You whine when he wiggled his fingers in front of you. He chuckled at the tremble in your voice. "You're the best person I've ever met!"

Your voice was dramatic and sarcastic which made Theo laugh. You beamed at him with a giggle.

He gave your cheek a pinch as Draco walked in, girls crowding him.

You would never know but whenever he entered a room, he would look for you. In the last month, he hasn't seen much of you except in hallways and classes before you rushed away.

His eyes stuck to you as he watched you giggle happily with Theo, pouting as Theo smirked at you.

He clenched his fist, ignoring all the desperate girls who wished for a night with him, and pushed past them, walking closer towards you.

He froze when he saw Theo hover over you, lips inches apart from yours.

Draco couldn't help but think— why did I feel like this seeing her with another guy?

His eyes widened when Theo grabbed your hips, crushing you into his chest. Draco was waiting for the moment where you would push him off, knowing that you hated physical contact with people you didn't know that well.

He bit the inside of his cheek as he saw you snuggle into Theo's chest. You wrapped your arms around his neck, leaving a kiss on his cheek and smiling up at him with those gorgeous innocent eyes.

Draco couldn't ignore the ache in his heart, rushing past everyone to get away from the scene in front of him.

He thought about how he was the one who let you go. You were the only good thing in his life, and he messed it up.

He could only blame himself, and himself will he blame.
