Alison!!
I woke up from the nice nap I was enjoying moments ago before my name was screamed. I got up from my chair, where I was cramped trying to rest.
"Yes sir!"
I raced towards my boss office mentally calculating what I might have done wrong.
"You're late!"
His emotionless voice halted me from going closer the moment I stepped through the door.I scoffed internally. I practically raced here the very moment I heard his voice, this fat lazy man won't just let me go even if it's for once. Yea, he's fat, not to shame his body but one can't help but notice his protruding stomach resting abundantly on his not so attractive hips which is just as fat as his body. His round face always crunching up in disguise and anger.
"I asked what happened to yesterday's sell."
His anger filled shouts almost burst my eardrums."I did... I seem...."
"Just stop stammering..."
He vibrated from anger making the chair carrying him to give a painful screech."Nothing happened to it."
I put my face down as I answered. I don't remember closing yesterday's sell but I'm sure I did."Nothing happened? You say nothing happened. It's the worst since you came here. My sells keep depreciating daily, it's just two weeks, two weeks and you want to ruin me."
I remember now, there was only one customer, now I'm thinking about it she was really beautiful.
"Not so many people read books this days."
"No they do, but since you got here they've stopped coming, why are you just a freak."
He just called me a freak? Do I deserve that, I wanted to kick him right in those balls of his and curse him for being such a psychopath who just like everyone bending to his pattern. But I couldn't do any of those, I just lowered my head to receive everything his mouth spouted.
"You're fired!!!!!"
"What?"
Maybe that's not what he said, or he didn't really mean them. It's just two weeks I started working here. I like it more in this place because I can immerse myself into the varieties of books and not even bother about him all day."I said you're fired."
"But I didn't do anything wrong.."
"Oh yes you did everything wrong, where the hell are my customers!!"
This time he sprang up from his chair causing it to flip backwards.I didn't know when my tears started to fall. I know I shouldn't be hurt by his words but it was just too harsh.
"I wonder what your parents were doing to raise someone like you."
That's it, he's actually rubbing on my sore wound, I shouldn't take that from him, I shouldn't and the more I think about that the more my head is beginning to boil from anger.
I sniffed back my tears and the nose that was already begining to run.
"You can just insult me but don't insult my parents, they are better than you who scream everything out of a person's life. What? You think I'm bad, look at you, you're worst. I may not know how to interact with them, I try, Everytime I try but they just look at me as if I'm weird.."
"Of course you're weird..."
He interrupted angrily. Now my tears were really running. I turned back and raced out going straight to my table to pick my things, but on a second thought I went back to him.
