The slime dropped an item [ring], which Souta examined and kept before returning to the guild.
When Souta arrived at the guild, he presented all of the proof material of completing the quest, but he got confused because the guild assistant stated that he did not complete the quest because the one he killed was not a master slime, but a rare ancient slime."
[Everyone was shocked]
He was disappointed, but he was still handsomely rewarded for killing an ancient slime.
Souta went to the appraiser and ask what he looted.
As the rare item is being appraised the appraiser was then again passed out to shock because the item he looted is an artifact created by the god of crafting Aistos and would cost a fortune if sold.
